We stared here for four nights sharing a small apartment with friends. The welcome from Olivier was very friendly. The stairs up to the apartment are very steep, quite tricky with a suitcase. Our room was up in the attic, very very cute with sloping ceilings and a beam across the middle of the room which we had to duck... More

This place is so amazing with it's interesting and artistic decor which defies all description. The owner is very pleasant and helpful and our room was huge and quite comfortable. We're really looking forward to going back again soon. You could not ask for a better location as well.

Another B&B from Alistair Sawday. Les Bonnets Rouges is a character filled small hotel that oozes French charm. No lift monsieurs et Mesdames! Right in the centre of Bourges with parking (book ahead) you are well situated to just walk everywhere, from the accommodation. A large bedroom with a very comfortable Queen bed and a single, lots of wooden beams... More

What an excellent find. Right in the heart of historic Bourges, this delightful chambre d'hôte is a real treasure. Our room was the converted stables, just perfect for us since we had the dog with us and she could potter in and out of the delightful little courtyard. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room light and airy... More

If you look for a great place to stay in Bourges, Les Bonnets Rouges are just what you want. Wonderful accommodation in the old town centre of Bourges, furnished with style and very cosy and quiet. The guest will welcome you with some drinks upon your arrival and give information on the town and surrounding.

I stayed in the loft (grenier) which had a view to the cathedral for two nights and wished I was staying longer. Bourges is a lively town with a fascinating and well-preserved old quarter; the cathedral will impress even those with Cathedral Fatigue, all a short walk from Rue Thaumassiere. Les Bonnets Rouges is an eccentric old house that has... More

Les Bonnets Rouges is a good place to stay in the old town. It is very close to the tourism information center, cathedral St. Etienne, and shopping center. The street market which will open on Sundays is also close to the house. I arrived Bourges on Sunday, no shops was opened at that day. If you are interested in shopping,... More

We booked this lovely place months ago from Perth because it looked like it would be really quaint and it did not disappoint. Oliver had left the key for us as he could not be there when we arrived, a quick phone call and we had all the instructions we needed. We chose the ground floor "Romance Suite" and it... More

We love this place and stayed for a night the third time this year. Olivier, the owner, was very helpful - even though we regularly arrive later than anticipated.. Our room overlooked the fabulous cathedral - magical!

Very quiet Location. My car was parked for me in a garage next door - which was great. A very old Medieval Coach Inn- the bedrooms are very spacious the bed perhaps a little too firm for me. Well placed in the oldest part of Bourges - easy walking to all the major sites. Perhaps getting a little tired in... More
