Great house and gardens, nice breakfast. After that the place is a little lacking, reception was cold and disorganised, room was small and hot. The en suite was tacked on and had a shower (over bath) without a curtain so water all over the floor....More
Our ninth stopover on a twelve day tour down and back up France and unfortunately one of the most disappointing. The off road parking was the reason we chose Le Clos Raymi, although our Morgan did scrape the edge of the driveway on the way...More
Great location was visiting Epernay as it easy to walk to the center. Not a grand hotel but a converted house. Its more like a very up market bed and breakfast. The hotel owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were a bit small but...More

Hello Linda. I've only just seen your question so it's probably too late to answer but it seems to be a relaxed arrival time as long as the hotel know. The owner is an elderly lady who lives on site. Arrival was notified to us as "after 1:30pm" so just email and let them know when you'll arrive. It's an unusual place, do not expect a normal hotel with normal procedures but that is its charm.
