My boyfriend had organised a weekend away to the Champagne region of France for my birthday and booked this hotel a few weeks before. He'd exchanged emails with a member of staff at the hotel and let them know our arrival time would be quite late (11 pm) and she'd confirmed that this would be fine. However, when we arrived,... It seems that Epernay has limited options for high end accommodation but I booked Le Clos Raymi for my wife's birthday expecting some serious luxury and a warm welcoming place to stay. We had a shock on arrival to be greeted by the most miserable woman ever who barely grunted at us and handed us the keys. No welcome smile,... More

The B&B is privately held by an older friendly woman with a nice cat, we stayed in the "African" room, very spacious room with beautiful bathroom. The house is very charming with old doors and majestic stair. Private parking in the front of the house. Breakfast was simple but very good. We felt really welcome!

We were 4 couples from Norway - the first time in Champagne, really astonished by the beauty of this hotel situated in a lovely garden in central Épernay. We occupied four of the hotel's seven rooms, each room different, clean and delicately furnished with charming details - many in Art Deco style. We stayed from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th... More

This house is beautiful. The rooms are cool and clean. The atmosphere was quiet when we stayed. Very pleasant and well situated to walk around the town. I would say the wifi didn't work which was annoying as we needed it for directions. Also the breakfast is extortionately priced. 18 euros!

Le Clos Raymi is a beautiful building with quaint rooms, a lovely garden terrace and gated parking facility. It is pretty expensive for what is ultimately a nice room. They were a bit naughty with breakfast being charged at 18€ per person. The Wifi does not work outside of the lobby. We were given a different room to what we'd... More

We stayed for two days in clos raymi. Not cheap, but the experience and the breakfast compensated well. The owner and her cat where very friendly and the location, 10 minutes from the centre and 5 from the avenue de champagne made that we were happy and had a good weekend.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel with secure off street parking where we could take our dogs. This fitted the bill perfectly. The rooms were adequate, and there is a nice lounge and a pleasant garden. They offer a good home cooked breakfast. There is no restaurant on site, but the town centre is only ten minutes walk.... Great service from all staff including the owner. We left some of our possessions in a drawer and returned to us safely. Cannot fault the bedroom on the too floor and the breakfast is excellent. Secure parking onsite is a bonus Walking distance to all the main streets in Epernay

Lovely hotel in a convenient location for the town centre. Had a comfortable pleasant stay however was disappointed with the after service. After dropping my keys in the car park, the staff kindly agreed to return to me, shocked to discover this "gesture" had cost me more than 5 x the postal charge for the package back to England.
