We had the pleasure of staying in this charming B&B in the backstreets of Montmartre and were delighted by so many features: the quietness despite being in the middle of town, the comfort of the bed and the sheets, the delightful breakfast with personal touches, the warm welcome including a welcome drink, the fantastic tips and the cleanliness of the...

We tried hard to find one but there is really no downside to staying at Le Sourire de Montmartre. Rooms: Are very clean and nicely decorated. Each room has a unique style. Large bed with comfy mattress. There is free Wifi. It is very quiet at night, virtually the only thing we heard in the evening is other people using...

I didn't expect this place would be like that...it's so charming, relaxing and zen . Love the hospitality, the decoration, great beds an good breakfast. Location is very nice whether you want to walk around through the day or have a drink or go out at night. I highly advise this place.

I really liked my room with the bathtub. It was quaint, a mixture of Eastern and Parisian decor. There was a bathroom en-suite which is always a plus. The breakfast was amazing, with more food than I could eat, but left me wishing that I had more room in my stomach so that I could try it all. It is...

The room is small as expected. It is a different type of location in a residence and it is a walkup so some may not want to do so. The owners are really friendly and helpful and they put on a typical french breakfast with small changes every day.

I've been at the Sourire de Montmartre with my partner and some friends, for a long weekend in Paris. Very nice and kind people given us a really warm welcome! The B&B is about 100 meters far from the metro station, in the back of an historical building, so really silent. The rooms are really comfortable, each one with its...

We booked the whole B&B as we were a large extended family traveling (8 to 75 years old), Our young kids really enjoyed their room, they had the bath. Ilhame was excellent to deal with, responding quickly to emails, and gave a lot of advice to help with our travels. All the rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The...

Looked great here on Tripadvisor, but was even better IRL. Quite easy to find, thank's to god map from host, and very close to Metrostation. A genuine neighbourhood with cosy restaurants and small grocerystores. Very clean and tidy rooms, nicely decorated, with comfy beds. The hosts are generous and helpful, and living is easy here. Best value for money and...

It is a great place! Close to metro and access to a lot of nice tourist sites. The hotel is charming, Ilham the lady that run the B&B was so kind and thoughtful and puts on a beautiful parisian breakfast spread. The rooms are lovely and cute- I would stay upstairs if you do not want to climb the stairs....

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
