I recently stayed here in a big group of 50, and then in a smaller group. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hostel was clean, rooms were spacious and well equipped. Showers and bathrooms were also nice and clean. The food in the bar was good and the 25% discount was much appreciated! It was very easy to...

We stayed for two nights, but in a different room each night due to our late booking and availability of rooms - private double with ensuite (I'll refer to it as Room 1), and private double using shared bathrooms (Room 2). Room 1 was located on top floor with its own little balcony, and a decent size. Bathroom was in...

Elevator dosent work and by the sounds of it it hasn't worked for a while. Had to climb 6 flights of stairs every day. The lock on our room was broken so there were maintenance workers in our 'private' ensuite room for hours. Bathroom smelt bad like sewerage coming up from the drain. Overall it was an ok stay. Nice...

Hi there Serena, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for St Christopher's. We have had our elevator down for the last few days unfortunately, but rest assured we're trying to get the issue fixed as soon as possible. We will definitely look into the drainage issue you mentioned immediately, and appreciate the feedback as...

It must be said that this is a massive hostel and that is not what I was looking for. If you do want to stay in a big hostel with a big party atmosphere then you will prob enjoy it. It was noisy all through the night and I barely slept. It is in a rough neighbourhood so the walk...

Hello Josh, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review of your stay at St Christopher's! We're sorry you found it to be too noisy, we certainly make every effort to keep noise levels in the room hallway's to a minimum at night and it's part of the reason our main bar closes at around midnight...

I am pleased that my first hostel experience was spent in St Christopher's Inn Canal Paris. It erased all the doubts and fears I had with hostels. LOCATION: Excellent. It is important for me that a metro or bus station is close to my accommodation whenever I travel. Metro stop Creme of Line 7 (light pink) is 3-5 minutes walk...

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
