This place is a well-oiled machine. Decent-sized dorms (which are apparently hard to come by in Paris) and well kitted out with each bed having a privacy curtain, reading light and several plug sockets. Security was good too with lockable draws for belongings under bunks. Decent discounts for all hostel residents on food and drinks downstairs (although their full price...

St Christophers Paris, is a nice place to stay, the hostel provides clean sheets and towels, the bathrooms are clean and easily accessible. Each bed has its own curtain, powerpoint and light. Its really great to get your own privacy. The hostel is a little out of the city center but the staff are helpful in helping you get around....

This is probably one of the best layouts to a hostel I've ever been in. The rooms seem really spacious, the hostel was very clean, the location was good with a short walk to the metro line crimee. The club in the hostel was good.. overall very good stay.

Very well run hostel, a lot of thought is put into making guests stay enjoyable. Staff are knowlegable & friendly. Do the free walking tour which leaves from reception each day- great intro to Paris as the city is massive. The location was ideal for jumping on the train & you can be at all the major sights in less...

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
