The hotel is on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle and noise which was lovely to come back to after a long day exploring. The metro is only a few minutes away on foot and most of our journeys usually lasted no longer than about 20 minutes whether we were visiting the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame... More

The Hotel Arts is located on a small street along with several other similar hotels. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and check-in and out-out were quick and easy. The lift, is rather small, so if you are a luggage hound, you might need to make more than one trip. The room was very comfortable and clean with a... More

The hotel is at a great location, close to the center and the area is full of bars, restaurants and shops. It is in a small alley, so you avoid the traffic. The rooms are ok, pretty much clean and the stuff was very kind and helpful. The only problem was the noise from the other rooms. We could actually... More

We stayed for four nights at this small hotel of 25 rooms. Reception and breakfast room are nicely, and look, recently decorated. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Our large room was in the front but the paintwork needed a freshen up and the wardrobe was just hanging space. The only shelf was stashed with blankets. There were only two power... More

I needed a hotel close to good places to eat and a pick up point for the hop on, hop off bus tour. When our taxi dropped us off outside, we realised quickly that we had hit the jackpot. The staff are very friendly, taking time out to chat. The rooms are fine, with a very french feel, clean and... More

Having come out of the Metro Grand Boulevards we found the hotel fairly easily - it was tucked away down a side street. Not a noisy area and check in was very easy, very helpful staff in the hotel. The room we stayed in was basic (Room 201) and not that much of view although we didn't go for the... More

Yes, this is a fabulous find. We've all managed to let this cat out of its bag, haven't we? Very well-situated, very well-priced for Paris (if this was anywhere else, it would be a 50 or 60 Euro establishment) but, given the reality of Paris and its prices, this is a fabulous find. The staff are always present and always... More

Love, Love, Love this place. When we arrived at the hotel early in the day 3/12/2015 we were able to leave our luggage and get started to Montmartre. Marc was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke great English. Thankfully! The Hotel is in a secret like passage with a great Parisian atmosphere. MoMo another gentleman there at night was happy... More

The staff was really welcoming, nice, and helpful. Most of my goof experience from the hotel is based on that. The room is basic. bed+desk. No air condition which was a bit problematic but an open window solves that. Very close to the subway (and hence to everywhere). 30min to Orly. 60min to CDG.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
