As the title says ..a little gem indeed. Clean, quiet and welcoming is the best way to define this hotel. Adequate size rooms with very comfortable beds. No coffee making facilities in the rooms, but you are more than welcome to sit in the ground floor lounge area where coffee and tea can be obtained free of charge. Close to...

Hotel was in perfect location to explore Paris. Was very near Metro but in 10 days never had to use the trains. 1st time in Paris and wanted to experience the city so walked everywhere with no troubles. The longest walks were to Arc de Triomphe and Sacre Coeur and were a little over an hour to each at a...

Stayed at Le Petit Paris for one week November 5-12. Excellent boutique hotel of approx 20 rooms. My "classic" room was rather small about 160 square feet but was very modern and up-dated. The bathroom was perfect although a dresser or armoire in the room would have helped. It is perfect for a solo traveller though not for a couple....

This charming little hotel, is centrally located, with a most helpful and courteous staff. The rooms, even though fairly small, are well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was included in the rate for our room, and it was standard fare. (eggs, sausages, toast , cerial, sweets....) If I had to do it over I think I would have had breakfast...

This hotel is wonderfully situated in the heart of Paris. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, albeit quite small. (Most hotel rooms in Paris are small. You only need the room to sleep.) The breakfast is wonderful, housekeeping is fabulous and the front desk staff is extremely helpful. . A special thank you to Karim, who is THE most...

We've stayed here before and chose to come back because of its nearness to the RER train station and access to CDG. The rooms are well appointed though small, the lobby comfortable and the staff helpful. The WiFi only worked in the lobby though I was told it was scheduled for repair the next day and it was not MAC/Apple...

Dear Bix52, Thanks a lot for your review. We'r glad you appreciated the location, very convenient if you come from Gare du Nord or both airports (Orly and CDG), as RER B train will stop you at Luxembourg station. For the low wifi signal, it has now been repaired as one of our boxes "passed away" during your stay.I'm very sorry for...

We stayed here during a business trip in September 2016. The location is excellent, a short walk to the metro and lots of bars and restaurants. Also very close to the lovely Luxembourg Park. Plus factors include tea/coffee available all day, an excellent breakfast, comfortable beds with good linen, a beautiful little courtyard and friendly staff. The only minus was...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel le Petit Paris, so much so that we are staying there again this week! Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
