Nice and safe hotel for a budget price. The rooms are small but tidy, good for people who mostly want to use the hotel to sleeping, and spending the rest of the time outside sightseeing. No restaurant in the hotel, but plenty of places close to it for eating. Also has a store closeby. The hotel has 4 floors (5...

The room looked like the one showed in the pictures: simple and slightly spartan. It was clean, however, and the staff was friendly and helpful. In essence: if you want a simple hotel room because you want to explore Paris the Luxelthe Hotel is a fine choice. The hotel is close to the Metro station, and a small bakery for...

Stayed here for 4 nights over New Year, so didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom clean but starting to look "tired". Bedding and towels were renewed after 2 days. Staff were friendly enough and provided travel and tourist information and maps. Perfectly adequate for what we wanted, and a reasonable price....

This hotel has functional rooms, very clean and it is centrally located to a well-connected metro station. They don't offer breakfast but there are lots of places around the corner and good restaurants.

The room was nice enough and the service was appropriate too. I loved that the hotel is at the Montmarte. We could find easy many cafes, restaurants, confectioneries and souvenir shop... I like the mood and buildings of th Montmarte.

Me and a friend have booked two rooms at Luxelthe for a stay of 3 nights. On check in the receptionist did not want to check either one of our passports, credit card details or booking confirmation. Which is a big lack of security for me. WiFi did not work during our whole stay and it seemed that nobody cared...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
