The Ritz Paris combines everything a sophisticated traveler can expect : perfection in the hotel’s common areas in terms of design, service and atmosphere. Perfection is also infuse the rooms and suites : large units with a decoration and ambiance symbolizing the French history. Great room service, great service, great food, great pool, great spa and great everything you can imagine. Everything is possible in this hotel, the word « NO » is not in the concierges dictionary. When staying there, all the lights are green meaning that perfection exists in Ritz Paris and nowhere else.

First & Foremost -
The location, situated on the Palace Venodome Square with views of Eiffel Tower from one side and of venodome from the other side, the property has the best address in town. You will find all luxury brands around the hotel with one of the main shopping high street right behind it. You feel like you’re in the real Paris when you stay at the property. The square on which the hotel is located is not a proper road and is meant for walking around with a different kind of flooring. It feels good to stay here
The Hotel, is by far the epitome of luxury that can be offered in Europe. The staff are courteous, have an eye for detail, very friendly and over enthusiastic to fulfill all your requests. Once we left in the morning and walked across the square but somehow all of a sudden the F&B manager without knowing us rushed across the square to introduce himself and take our dinner plan reservations. The second time we came out and asked for a cab and to our surprise they offered the hotel S class free of charge to wherever we wished to go around. Btw this happened twice.
The interiors, of the hotel is top notch. I think they have used THG Paris for all their bathroom fittings. The bed, sofas, toiletries, towels, linen are all top of the line.
Not to miss is the Ritz club pool and spa, one of the best I’ve been to ever. The pool has inbuilt music system which is a game changer. The spa is fantastic with all therapist well trained.
The food at the hotel is good. As we are vegetarian we didn’t find a lot of options but it was good enough. The breakfast is very very good and they best part is that they serve it at the room or by the pool as per your convenience.
The concierge is by far the best in the city. Anything, Anytime, Anywhere you need a reservation they will help you.
Though we didn’t get a table at Hemingway bar, we did meet the famous bartender and had one his classic cocktails. It’s a must try.

Must Stay here!!!!!

First time stay. On par with the Burj al Arab, Peninsula HK and St Regis NY. Liked it so much on trip back from Bordeaux cancelled the Prince Galles and booked the Ritz again. Upgraded both times to Junior Suite or above. Worth paying for car service to and from airport. A Ritz uniformed person meets you at the airplane gate, takes you through a no wait line at customs and puts you in a Mercedes to ride to the Ritz. Breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are works of art, extremely well maintained, and the service is very attentive. There are a few more included amenities at the St Regis like a coffee maker, daily fruit, ice, waters, and chocolates. Because of the space there is no separate bedroom but the rooms are spacious. One downside is there are many non guests allowed in the hotel so it is difficult to go to the Hemingway Bar, etc. A great way to relax in Paris.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a duration of 4 nights mid January earlier this year. There is no doubt that the hotel is beyond beautiful and extravagant. This was our second stay at the hotel. However, we were left disappointed by the service at the hotel. We experienced several and significant hiccups that should not happen at the Ritz. For example, we had a late dinner at Bar Vendome, and we found that the staff were not well versed with the menu on offer (one waiter read the specials from a paper he tried to conceal in his palm). Further, we were less than impressed with the breakfast service, for instance the tea came out cold, twice. Moreover, the room itself was not cleaned well, and we were forced to complain (i.e. water/wine glasses were not replaced etc. ). On a positive note, concierge were knowledgeable and very helpful as well as the manager who offered us a choice of rooms when ours was less than sufficient, i.e. the toilet seat was broken, the door to the balcony also broken. We hope to stay at the Ritz next time we are in Paris, however the hotel needs to improve on staff communication, service and awareness as well as housekeeping services.

It has been a long time I wish to stay at The Ritz in Paris, ever since I read the story of Calouste Gulbenkian while he was living at the Ritz and Cesar Ritz was taking care of him 100 years ago.

Then COVID-19 came and we were not able to travel for a while.

Once I read that the hotel will reopen by the end of August 2020 it was decided that we go now with my pregnant wife to spend a long weekend in the city of love under the roof of Cesar Ritz.

It was worth it and more.

The experience, started at the gate at Charles De Gaulle airport where a nice suited representative meets you and he is taking care of your swift passage to the courtesy limo which drives you to Place Vandom.

The hotel is a work of art, I believe it will become a museum one day, a place where royalty and film stars and people who rule the world had stayed before.

We were treated as royalty with an upgrade to what was a part of the famous Windsor suit with a view over Place Vandom :).
How nice is that, a big spotless suit with 6m high ceilings and Art Deco styling which is not my thing(I like modern) but here you feel that no other style will do and you feel cozy and at home from the moment you enter.

Yes, the personnel is very friendly and personal, no request stayed unanswered and the nicest thing - all day breakfast!

Of course all facilities, from the amazing spa and the Matrix equipped gym, the afternoon tea and restaurant are expectedly great.

But a review about the best hotel in Europe can’t be about the small thing that you expect from a five star hotel, it’s all about the way the place make you feel, the smile you have when you wake up in that room and the knowledge that you are touching piece of history everywhere in the hotel.

I have only one problem with this amazing place - now I won’t visit any other hotel in Paris, just can’t substitute TheRitz.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas here at the Ritz Paris. The suites are wonderful and the quality of the fittings and facilities were, as one would expect for this very expensive, iconic hotel, absolutely superb. While Bar Hemingway is always crowded, there were enough alternative bars and salons to keep everyone happy. The Spa was exquisite and the swimming pool the stuff of dreams, with its 2 jacuzzis and music of your choice playing under the water! The service was impeccable. The only disappointment of our 5 day stay was the afternoon tea on Christmas Day, we felt the sandwiches were stale and the giant chocolate studded scones unpalatable, the much hyped pastries not to our taste either. For a genuine English afternoon tea with light, fresh fare, there may be better choices....... but for everything else The Ritz is everything one hopes for in an hotel!

We really love the Ritz, our review is 3.8 because of our last stay.
Let be honest the hotel and the suites are the most beautiful we have ever had.
The staff is incredible.
The pool was closed because of Covid (whereas other hotel manage to keep it open, I don’t know how).
The main complaint is about the food, it is far below the experience you have in other hotels...
even during our previous stays (before covid) we weren’t impressed with the food.
But during our last stay the breakfast was just bad, the service so poor. Furthermore, we paid 51€ for a plate of tasteless Bolognese in room.
Incredible place, stunning, the staff is amazing (not our last breakfast!) the food is below average...

With my wife we still laugh at the boiled eggs served as poached. When we visit other hotel we are like “it’s not the ritz but at least they can cook eggs”.

I took my 91 year old mother to Paris for the last time and we stayed at the Ritz. In my lifetime I’ve never had a perfect stay until this one. The first thing you notice is the physical beauty of the hotel. Each room is decorated like a jewel box. The attention to detail, whether it’s the magnificent linens or warm bathroom floors oozes luxury. At Christmas the hotel is spectacularly decorated, as is the Place Vendome. All of that said, it’s the people that make this place so very special. My mom has limited mobility and every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special and help her get around. We were greeted upon arrival with a bottle of chilled champagne in the room and a beautiful tray of croissants, coffee and the freshest orange juice—such a wonderful start to our stay. The entire staff at breakfast at L’espadon made each start to our day a pleasure. The doormen are the heroes of the property. They handled her like the finest piece of porcelain. The housekeeping staff keeps the hotel in pristine condition (fyi there is a real hairdryer and flat iron in the bathroom so you won’t need to bring yours) and the lovely signature sent of the hotel wafts everywhere. This was so much more than a hotel stay, it was an opportunity to make beautiful memories. Yes, I paid handsomely to stay here but I got so much more out of this experience than they did my dollars. There are many beautiful hotels in Paris but there is only one Ritz.

We stayed at the Ritz for one night at one of the Suites (Jardin). It was a lovely room, great size, decoration, service. The hotel has also one of the best customer services and they clearly prioritise your experience as a guest. When we left there was a massive protest blocking all taxis from entering the neighbourhood and they accompanied us to take the taxi good 15 min from the hotel, making sure everything worked well in our transport. It was a lovely weekend experience.
The only aspect I think they could improve would be offer "fresher" options during breakfast. They are associated with one of the best cuisine schools of France, so getting pre-prepared egg mix for a scrambled egg or getting orange juice that is not freshly squeezed is a pity for their level. I know these are small details, but these are the type of details you expect from such a high quality hotel.

I recently visited The Ritz for a week’s stay and without a doubt will return in the not too distant future.

The location on Place Vendôme couldn’t be more perfectly situated and beautiful. The cobblestone square with its wonderful street lamps and the Mansart façade of the hotel is all naturally spectacular.

Once inside, the décor of the hotel is as opulent and sophisticated as one could wish for, classical and French in every way. The Ritz could be nowhere else other than Paris and feels totally unique opposed to the other well known luxury hotels in the city.

The garden in the centre of the hotel and the courtyard at the side are both tranquil and an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The sound of fountains and the scent of the plants add much to the peaceful atmosphere.

The rooms of the hotel are as beautiful as the public rooms downstairs, attention to detail at every corner. The Ritz paris has possibly the finest bathrooms I’ve seen anywhere. The gold fixtures, the swan neck taps, fabulously scented and moisturising toiletries made in France, as well as the soft and thick rose coloured towels are the pinnacle of luxury. The traditional furniture and even the paintwork in the rooms is spectacular and make such a lovely place to spend time. Quite a few of the rooms in the hotel have a balcony or terrace overlooking the fountains and greenery. Having a good amount of outside space in such a peaceful and serene place as The Ritz truly make an escape from the city.

The food and drink in the hotel is as good as it gets, fantastic breakfast with everything you could wish for, divine cakes and pastries, delicious meals and crispy fries, as well as very good cocktails in the Hemingway bar. You’re always guaranteed to get chatting and meet new people in the Hemingway.

The concierge are always at hand to help and make miracles happen and are always as swift as can be.

I personally love The Ritz Paris and have a passion for history and especially all things César Ritz, the perfectionist of a man and everything he created in his lifetime is fascinating to me.

I will certainly be back soon I hope and recommend this historic landmark of a hotel to anyone looking for the best of the best Paris, France, Europe and even the whole world has to offer.

A must visit!
