My wife and I stayed at Hotel Lancaster at the end of our French holiday for 4 nites. Our room was comfortable and roomy and, to our delight, decorated with roses for our anniversary -- very sweet touch, thank you! The front desk is very helpful with directions and restaurant selections and the entire rest of the staff, from the...

My wife and I stayed at the Lancaster for four nights in November and found it to be excellent. First and foremost, the staff were brilliant. Extremely helpful in assisting us with bookings and reservations, and always smiling and attentive, could not have been better. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are beautifully appointed in classic French style. We...

We were lucky enough to be able to stay at the Lancaster for 3 nights in a Prestige room for our honeymoon. It really was a dream come true, right on the Champs-Élysées, but still on a quiet street. The bed was huge, beautiful bathroom with an enormous bath. We found Champagne and a rose heart on our bed the...

Stayed at the lancaster for my 2nd time in Paris and I must admit it was a good experience. This hotel went under some kind of renovation since my last visit and it looks pretty good. My room was some kind of noisy but service was very attentive. Many 5 stars are now closed in Paris so it remains a...

Absolutely marvellous hotel where we felt like we were staying in a mansion rather than a hotel. The room was lovely and the hotel had it's own ambience that was extremely dignified. The location of the hotel cannot be faulted, being less than 50 meters from Champs Elysees and all it's beauty and attractions. The staff are polite and attentive...

“Rooms facing the garden are quiet”

“We booked thru American Express platinum - the fine hotels program and had upgraded rooms and champagne. Lovely hotel and would return. Allister, the door man was friendly and helpful. Our rooms were large and immaculate. Clarins bath products and very nice breakfast. I recommend highly - we did a long weekend and the location was great for seeing the city. Close to arch and shopping. Beautifully quaint yet high end. Such a great walking city and so much to see. ”

“I have no advice, as I did not see any of the other rooms.”
  • Safe only accessible by kneeling and viewing a few inches above floor level. Drop not enough to
  • Only other cupboard has no shelves.
  • The sink looked as though it suffered from an unpleasant infection
  • No space in the sink area or bathroom for a reasonable amount of toiletries needed for 3 nights.

“ No TV to watch if you have half a brain. Very biased news agencies only like CNN. I can't stand that deplorable rhetoric. They need to get Russian TV or Fox News. The employees were over-the-top being friendly and helpful. The service was impeccable. The entire hotel was very clean. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful . There was a little bit of construction on the street but you never heard of anything. The breakfasts were very good and it was nice to just come back to the bar and have a quiet drink before going to beds They had great recommendations for dinner each night. And the other clientele to stay there he was very respectful and seemed family oriented”

“Room 600 is generous in size. Full king size bed which we found very comfortable. Seperate bathroom and a seperate toilet. On level 6 up and away from traffic. Beautiful French doors opened onto a full balcony.”
