This place has great ambience, decor and great crowd. That's about it . The service is really bad and quite rude. The food so so. I'm not quite sure what the fuss is all about. I guess it depends on ones priorities...

In paris there are a few classic and great places. Hotel Costes is one of them. The family costes creates this hotel with an magnificent atmosphere and food. Service can suck and you have to get lucky. I was here more then once and had different experience from extremely good to rude and bad service from rusian girl that thought...

Overcrowded during paris fashion weeks....over estimated menu price wise...service was so and so....2 avocado salads with pink grapefruits arrived...without grapefruit.. overall food was ok....but nothing special and over priced....the location and atmosphere are fantastic and you pay for that in your meal....I would not recommend dining at the Costes ! You can enjoy the same ambiance at the bar !

Went here for lunch when I visited Paris in November. The décor is beautiful. We sat in the courtyard area and it was a lovely atmosphere. The food was great and its a great place for people watching. The service was average. It was quite snobby and the girls weren't very attentive.

Everything a chic night in Paris should be; beautiful people, amazing food, stunning atmosphere, not to mention great music being played by their own DJ. I suggest making a reservation a day or two in advance especially if its a weekend night. You can't specifically ask for a table in their courtyard which is the best place to be seated...

Spend Christmas lunch at this fabulous hotel and staff were very good ... food was outstanding! The concierge staff were very helpful in organising a secret Coste gift for my daughters which was placed under the Christmas tree ... Returned for catch ups with friends and celebrated the most amazing New Year's Eve experience yet! Coming back ASAP ... thank...

An institutional place for those who appreciate an elegant lifestyle of Paris. I would especially recommend the bar during weekend nights: its a real fun place. The location is great, so you could easily go out to the best restaurants, but the hotel's restaurant in the courtyard is very elegant too.
