This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.

We loved everything about this hotel. We had a nice size executive room with huge bathroom of beautiful marble. Amazingly tasty 100% organic breakfast buffet that was included in the room rate. Kindest and most professional front desk staff who were also our concierges for

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Raphael. Its location cannot be faulted- the metro was just outside the Hotel and the Champs Elysee just a couple minutes walk up the road. The hotel spoke of old style gracious charm. The rooms were large by Parisienne standards

You can rarely find nowadays a place like Raphael. Had the occasion to confirm it, once more, just 2 days ago, during a reception with 200 guests. Renovated but all at the same preserving the sheer charm of the past, this place is simply outstanding. The location, the decor, the

Our family of 3 stayed in an Eiffel Tower Suite in January. The room and views were incredible. The hotel is in a great location with lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Would thoroughly recommend.

It is petite yet lavish in the ambience. I loved the antique lift complete with a lift man and velvet red bench that reminded me of the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. How very nostalgic! Our room was generously decorated and came with a balcony overlooking the top part of the

We were there at Hotel Raphael last weekend (Dec 1, 2) and the staff took excellent care of us. We felt very safe in the hotel and were careful on the streets. Some shops and cafes in the area closed but many were open. Museums, tourist sights have closed, some Metro service curtailed, so it is a different visit than usual, but Hotel Raphael staff helped in every way.

We did not have a suite, but a regular room. It was fine. Actually a corner so we had two windows at 90 degrees. We did NOT have a view of anything noteworthy. However, we also didn't ask as we were only there one night. Good luck.

what type of suite do i need to book to have a view of the Eiffel Tower? do you have balconies?
Dear Miriam, The best Suites with views are either the Suite Eiffel with a beautiful and huge Terrasse overlooking the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe Suite with a huge Terrasse again overlooking the Arc de Triomphe or our Dupleix Suites both with astonishing views. We also have some rooms with views and the best way is to call us to book the room that will most soit you as they are all different. Last but not least, on our terrace on the 7th floor, you will have the best panoramic view of Paris which is perfect spot for Selfi. All the best, Florence Poli
