This hotel is near the Hotel de Ville so is very central. It has unusual and quite singular decor but is clean enough though the wardrobe in our room was shabby and smelly so wasn't used. The shower didn't work well , some lights didn't work and the bathroom was quite small but overall was adequate. The dining room had...

We selected this hotel to spend a short break in because of its position, on the edge of the Marais, and its value. We found the location excellent as we could walk or 'metro' to anywhere we needed. The nearest metro to the hotel is Hotel de Ville. Some previous reviewers complained of the noise, but what do you expect...

This is a really fine place and just in front of Hotel de Ville, so you can walk almost everywhere! Rooms were fine and clean and a bathroom quite fine though without anything but soap. The shower was very small so I couldn't move inside it without bumping into the walls or door, but I'm quite a tall man. We've...

I have stayed in this 2-star hotel several times in the past ten years (once or twice per year). This is my first review. The hotel is good value and in very good location. Reception staff are typically parisian in their interaction with guests. Beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Rooms have character and are clean enough...

I've been to Paris multiple times and this is by far my favorite place. It's an old building with a lot of charm and charactor. The front staff is friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. It is on a very busy street so there is much noise. My room came with two balconies and a great view. The shower...

My sister, 20 year old niece and I stayed for a couple of nights and would go back. We loved the bohemian decor and the location was excellent. The rooms were tiny buy reasonably clean and it felt so Parisian. It is definitely not the Ritz., but we were travelling on a strict budget and it was awesome for the...

This hotel is located very centrally, and next to a square with a bunch of nice restaurants and bars. We stayed in room 5 (on the 2nd floor): decent sized bed, room size ok, but you have to shuffle sideways around the foot end of the bed. Had a balcony that overlooked the square, and quite a large "new looking"...

My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon this April, and while the location was great, on our last night there, we came back from a day of sight seeing only to find that our room was broken into. There was no indication at first, because the lock was back on, and the room looked intact. It was only...

As we already did, we once again apologize about this painfull event that occured in our hotel, but unfortunately, as anybody knows, insurances do not repay any item without producing a receipt .

We spend 8 days at Hotel de Nice. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable. We had a bathroom with bathtub and we got new towels every day. The staff were very helpful. Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
