It is a nice hotel providing tastefully though essentially decorated rooms, very comfortable beds and a few amenities such as a coffee machine with complimentary capsules. It's located in the heart of town and very well connected to everything. The only flaw I could find was the fact that the bins weren't emptied in 4 days and they smelled funny by the end of my stay

Great boutique hotel with cozy rooms that are styled with features to assist in your comfort. Our double room had a comfortable bed with reading lamps, small bedside tables that are moveable plus a fold down desk with a chair. We appreciated the clothes hangers and shelf for clothes too. The hotel lobby was a lovely spot to hang out! We did not partake in the hotel breakfast. The front desk staff also spoke English and were friendly, informative and ready to assist with anything you needed!
The location was great! We walked numerous places in the Latin Quarter and found the Metro easy to use for further destinations. Metro stations were just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

After booking this hotel I asked a couple of simple questions, when replies came they were brusque and did not answer the questions - alarm bells were ringing!
The day before staying I got an email saying that they couldn't accommodate us, with no further explanation, so they transferred us to another hotel in a different part of the city. This really didn't suit but multiple communications from myself and ebookers has yielded no response whatsoever.

I actually feel totally scammed having booked one hotel in an area that suited and then they decide to put us somewhere completely different. It feels very much like a broken contract/scam.

I cannot therefore judge the property but customer service is utterly non existent and on that alone I would advise to steer well clear. There are plenty of nice little hotels in Paris, this isn't one!

Been really impressed with this hotel. I was worried given how horrendous old photos were on reviews but the hotel has been fabulously renovated and looks just like the recent pics. The bathroom was extremely clean and had a great rain shower. The room had a nespresso capsule machine and a large tv which worked. Room service cleaned our room while we were out. I Check-in in late and that was no problem. The receptionists have always been super helpful- provided us with recommendations. I’m really fussy and particularly about cleanliness but honestly would recommend this to friends. Please be confident in staying here it’s fab.

We stayed 3 nights in junior suite. Room was small but manageable. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioner worked well.

Breakfast is nothing fancy and the selection is limited compared to other European hotels. Compared to standard continental breakfast in American hotels, breakfast was very good.

Location is very good - many good eating places near by. Also not far are different public transportation stations (bus, metro).

All in all we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and can recommend it to other as well if you can get good price.

We were so pleased with our recent visit. We were skeptical after reading some of the reviews and seeing pictures, as it didn't seem to align with what the website showed. This entire hotel has been beautifully redecorated, so the older reviews are very much irrelevant. This is a GREAT location in the Latin Quarter, very close to restaurants and cafes. The staff are very friendly. We did not eat breakfast here so I can't speak to that, but we walked by and they had an assortment of yogurt, fruits, pastries, etc. Our room was clean and we had daily housekeeping service. A few things to note: the internet is not great. It seems to intermittently kick out. The bed was a little bit firm. Other than that, no real complaints!

We arrived very early so we just check in and left our luggage to be stored. The man in the reception is very helpful. The hotel it self is just less than 10minutes away from the metro. Accessible to all shops and restaurants. After whole day outside for sightseeing, we went back to the hotel and what’s even great is that we have been free upgraded to a very nice and bigger room. We also check out early without any hustle. I will surely gonna recommend this hotel!

Very cozy, boutique style hotel. We were greeted with a warm welcome, I forgot her name but she was very friendly and helpful. The lobby has great styling with unique and retro designs. The room was small but quaint and overlooked the front of the property. It was also quite comfortable and clean. The property is in a quiet location and minutes away from the Metro station. Cafe Lea is also just down the street and would highly recommend. The food is delicious and was a perfect first meal after a long red-eye flight from Toronto.

In the delightful 5e Arrondissement, this is centrally-located, near public transportation and surrounded by shops and dining spots. It is close to Place Monge, worth experiencing in itself. The hotel is charming, clean, nicely decorated, with a good bed and very, very helpful staff. One odd note for those worried about such – the room safe was opened with a key on the keychain, meaning the hotel has access. We didn’t worry. Recommended and reasonably priced.

Do you know rooms with a view of the Effiel tower?
Answer from Redmango43

Hotel L'esperance does not have a view of the Eiffel Tower, the best/lowest cost place i know for a Tower view is in MontMatre, which is a way from the center of Paris, but nearly all hotels there have a tower view, even small (not too expensive).
