My husband and I stayed in this hotel for five nights in April. We were pleasantly surprised. The other reviews scared me a bit but we stayed here anyway. I stayed in a 3 person room and it was frumpy but large and really comfortable. The decor was getting a little worn but nothing specific was wrong. The hallway is not level and the colored lightbulbs scream bordello, but, that's ok. Our bathroom was big and airy and had 2 sinks, and all three beds were comfortable. Ask to...

From what I had read on this site, I was beginning to regret booking at the Hotel Normandy. I looked at their website and realize that all hotels choose the best rooms for their online pictures or brochures. We checked in with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. It is hard for me to "rate" this hotel because I usually stay at four and five star hotels. However, for the price (120 Euros all taxes, etc included per night) it was a very reasonable deal standing one block from the Louvre. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful.
