We stay often in this hotel because of several reasons: first of all it is pefectly located in the center close to the Opera Garnier but still quiet, the rooms are lovely and comfortable, the price is reasonable and the staff is very helpful, friendly and you feel more than welcome !

This was my third stay at the Hotel Etats Unis Opera and I strongly recommend it to others. On a quiet street one-block long, just off the Opera, its location is such that with its double-glazed windows it is remarkably quiet. Amazingly quiet. Yet it is only three blocks from the Opera Garnier itself. The hotel rooms were renovated last...

Stayed in March 2016. The staff was very helpful both before and after our trip. As we had never been to Paris before, I had many questions prior to the trip. Yves was very prompt in replying to emails and helping me select the best room options and rate for our family of 5. We were given connecting rooms with...

A simple tidy hotel with great location just next to shopping (La Fayette, Le Printemps), restaurants and sightseeing. Breakfast was good, choices from fresh croissants and baguettes, ham, cheese, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, jams, fruit salads, yogurts, etc. Wifi worked really well, which is always a plus in a hotel. Ask for a room with big windows/balcony.

Stayed here many times. Comfortable and clean with a good brakfast. Near the Opera. head down the Avenue away from the opera, and after about 4 blocks, there's the Rue D'Antin. Weird Decor in the Breakfast or, almost a cartoonish painting of an English MiLord. In the landing of the stairs there is a shoe polishing machine, one of my...

I have been coming to Paris for years and am always in search of the 'perfect Paris hotel.' I am happy to say that the Hotel Etats-Unis is one of them. The hotel is run by a staff of extremely nice and helpful people, most of whom have spent many years working at the hotel. My room was the not...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Etats-Unis Opera. The staff did try to be very helpful and mostly succeeded. The daytime manager was especially friendly and helpful. The room was large for a Paris hotel in this price range and had everything we needed. There were lots of mirrors, good lighting, and lots of counter space...

Having stayed at the Royal Monceau and George IV as a kid i always like the personal gracious attention in a hotel. While not a 5+ star this hotel provides spacious , for Paris , rooms, a wonderful location steps from the Opera and an intimate feel. Wifi was excellent, for those work issues and was close to simple and...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
