Stayed with the Ascot Optera hotel for a long weekend and everything was perfect. The room had lot of space and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was clean and the neighbourhood was quite so sleeping was never a trouble. The reception was helpful and the hotel is in a walking distance from the Louvre and other interesting places.

I took my wife and two kids ages 11 and 6 to Paris to spend a week in Paris over Christmas and really liked our choice for the hotel. No mistakes, it's not a Ritz or Four seasons but if you're looking for something more quaint and smaller Paris charm this will work for you. The location is central enough...

We stay here with family shortly while arriving from Asia. As we arrive in the very early morning, the staff was very helpfull getting a room for us as early as possible for us to change and rest before visiting paris. The location is also great as walking distance to the Louvre, the grand boulevards and the concorde plaza. The...

A really cosy, quaint little boutique hotel. Excellent location where we really knew we were in Paris. Family of 4 stated in a quad room for a week. Not huge space, but good for Europe standards. Parents in double bed, kids in 2 x single fold out beds from couches. After a week, we could have easily stayed longer. Heaps...

So I booked through booking.com way in advance and looked forward to my stay. My flight was overnight so I arrived in Paris in an early chilly morning. The information counters at the airport advised me to take the Royce bus but I realised way after that there was a metro station just next to the hotel. I couldn't find...

I can truly recommend this hotel for a layover in Paris. The rooms are neat and clean. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel location is really good, on a quiet street but still in the citycenter. You will find Louvre only a 5minutes walk away. Gallerie Lafayette is 10min walk away, and there are many nice restaurants, cafes...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
