I should've taken photos of my room *sigh*. I stayed at Mercure December 2016. I took Uber most of the time during my stay in Paris, and for some reason none of the Uber drivers can find the hotel or atleast had difficulty finding it. So I always had to walk to Moulin Rouge so they can easily find me....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The check-in was quick and they offer tickets to attractions around Paris so that you can 'skip the line'. People were nice and the 'free breakfast' was great! The room was neat and spacious with pretty big comfy beds, and we have a lovely view. The hotel is walking distance to the Sacred heart basilica, the montremartre cementery, moulin Rouge,...

My husband and I really enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel in the Montmarte area of Paris. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs; we enjoyed the updated rooms and general hotel appearance. A very nice buffet breakfast was included in our room fee. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Paris.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and can depend on this hotel for quality service and a clean room. Breakfast buffet is good, but it would be nice to have more choices. This is also a good location, close to Montmartre with some pretty nice restaurants.

Fantastic location 2 mins from Metro and lots of bars and restaurants. Hotel reception is clean and staff are extremely helpful. Rooms are a more than adequate size and beds comfortable. Breakfast is great value at €20 (all you can eat) although there are many options on the doorstep. Would definately consider this hotel for any future visits to Paris

Last month I stayed in 3 different Mercure hotels in 3 different cities and that this hotel with its corner cutting practises and indifferent staff, was the one that I would not come back too. Rooms are quite small but acceptable. The room cleaning is just okay. The hotel is just next to the Montmarte cemetery and close to the...

Stayed here for a Friday and Saturday night in January 2017. Managed to get a good deal for a friend and I. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Shower was decent. Bar in the hotel is nice. Location wise, I think it is in a good place. Just off the hustle and bustle of the Moulin Rouge area but...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
