This hotel is great for a citytrip to Paris. The hotel is positioned in the middle of a busy street in the middle of the Montmartre district. The building is beautiful, with a classic, central-parisien look and feel to it. The interior is nicely designed, with nice and bright colors. The rooms, although small, are well maintained and clean. All...

On a positive note, the staff were very welcoming and we were efficiently checked-in. The hotel is very clean and the continental breakfast was plentiful. The location is great, a few streets away...

Montmartre is one of my favorite areas in Paris. Hotel Basss was my first choice of hotels in this area. We received a very friendly welcome at check-in and they let us in our room early. The location is amazing, perfectly positioned in Montemarte. You can walk out the front door and have a range of delicious and fresh food,...

We stayed at Hotel Basss for 4 nights and we were very happy with our stay there. Lovely and helpful people who work there, nice modern lobby, clean room with a nice soft bed. The breakfast was perfect, and included coffee, juices, baguettes, bread, pancakes, yoghurt, müsli, croissants (choco and regular), and a wide variety of jams, ham, salami and...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
