The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

You have to use the main train line from CDG to Gare du Nord, we bought tickets from a machine think it was about 10euros for a return. It does look daunting at first especially if it's a busy time but just look at signs everything is clearly signed.
Once you get to Gare du Nord you then go down a walkway to change to the metro line, you can get a bundle of metro tickets at a machine I think it was about 14euro for about 10 tickets these will come in useful. you walk to La Chapelle, then take the metro to Pigalle (this is No:2 line).
Once you get off at Pigalle as you come up from the metro you turn left & walk up road opposite, it's just off this road, (this is like a big square with roads off it here) it is literally a 2minute walk you need to just read the road signs here & you'll easily find it.
I hope this all helps!
The hotel was lovely, I hope you have a wonderful time!!
