Follow the White Rabbit! It will draw you into its enchanted, elegant world where reality gives way to dreams. White yet dashed with colour, this pocket-sized hideaway was conjured up by two artists. Stay here and immerse yourself in the mysterious atmosphere of the Latin Quarter. The chic world of the 50's combines with a certain exuberance as the imaginings of the white rabbit are brought up to date. This chic and discreet hotel is the ideal place from which to discover Paris; it is a stone's throw from the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Gardens and Notre- Dame Cathedral.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I just left a long weekend stay at Le Lapin and figured I would share details for future potential guests. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel, we were immediately shocked and disappointed by the hotel’s exterior. It is not fancy or welcoming. There was graffiti on the business next door and it just felt very sketchy. When we opened the door, we were further disappointed because there isn’t a lobby. You pretty much check-in in a small/tight hallway. The shock and worry didn’t end when we arrived in our second floor junior suite. The stand alone tub was stained (it was pretty gross, honestly), the shower was old and moldy, and the room was smaller than we expected. On the upside - we had a balcony, which was awesome!!!! And we had macaroons waiting for us, which was a nice touch. This motel is for travelers who are on a tight budget and don’t plan to spend much time in their room. Also, be mindful that there is no bar or restaurant and the “snacks” offered during certain hours are just that. The location is great as many things are within walking distance. And, some of the staff, like Sally, were wonderful. However. I would not stay at Le Lapin again, and I would not recommend it.

This is a terrific little hotel with nice rooms, clean and well kept. The staff are extremely helpful and hospitable .The location is excellent. Coffee in the breakfast room downstairs is great. Breakfast is “okay” - not a knockout but certainly good enough to start your day of exploring Paris. I would definitely stay here again.

It's tucked away behind a tiny entrance between two currently un-tenanted shops. Inside is a cosy, somewhat quirky little hotel with something of an Alice in Wonderland theme. We picked a superior room, and were glad we did. It was on the 5th floor (of 6), facing the street but very, very quiet. The room was generous size, although somewhat unusually arranged. Accessed by lift thankfully (with room for just two people). Breakfasts were modest but adequate. Our best recollection however is of the staff who were all really helpful and keen to help. And the location is superb. Well connected to two important Metro lines, just round the corner to the Pantheon (well worth a visit) with the Luxembourg Gardens just up the road. A Monoprix supermarket nearby, fast food outlets and lots of eating spots, restaurants and brasseries. We have vowed always to stay on this side of the city in future,

Great location with lots of shops and restaurants around. Not far from the station. Hotel staff are very friendly which is always a bonus. Hotel is lovely, only criticism I have is that the shower leaks water into the 'bathroom' area floor. Otherwise, lovely decor and comfortable bed. The macarons in the room were a lovely touch too.

Lovely and well appointed boutique hotel in a great location on the Left Bank. Walking distance to major Parisian sites; and close to Metro. There are many cafes to choose for lunch and dinner. Staff also had great recommendations. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Booking hotels in a different country is so overwhelming and so I hope this review helps others , it’s not from a complete personal perspective as I try to step outside of my own likes / dislikes. Firstly , it’s not too close to major attractions such as Eiffel Tower and its surrounding museums however , it’s a 3min walk to Luxembourg gardens and Seine river which you can walk along and pick up the hop on/off river boat which is great to access the major attractions. We figured this out too late but , will do this next time. There’s a good selection of bakeries / restaurants etc. The hotel accommodated us by giving us a free upgrade ( my daughters 21st ) and once the room was ready we were able to check in. The front of house was super friendly and helpful. Our room ( 41 ) was a good size for Paris. The windows open to a good street view. The hotel and room is decorated beautifully but, it’s a little dated and definitely needs a overhaul. The Tv is French only and has no Netflix etc if you like to unwind with a film at night. Laptops are advised. It’s very clean and was maintained throughout the day. Nothing was ever too much. Great toiletries - we are going to buy them when we get home. The bed was uncomfortable, I think because it needs to be replaced. The pillows weren’t great either and I don’t think this would make a difference to the person , the bed was uncomfortable and felt a little uneven. The lift only fits two people- we are slim so , prepare for a wait if busy. There are stairs. All in all if needed for the area then this is a great hotel for great value for money.

We stayed at Le Lapin Blanc for just one night before flying home to the US and it was perfect. The room was beautifully designed and decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the ambiance peaceful and quiet. Easy walking distance to the Jardin du Luxembourg, St Germain, etc., and very close to stations for the RER train to CDG. Would definitely stay there again.
