It is difficult to find with poor signs. You have to walk up steep stairs to a dingy kiosk. I requested a quiet room away from the lift but was put in a run down single room at the top next to the lift which kept me awake. The carpet was stained, tiles in the bathroom broken and missing and there were signs of mildew. There is no aircon. This is a run down second rate hotel to be avoided. The photos were quite misleading. Double rooms may be more comfortable but my single room was a dump. It was very poor value.

Overpriced, extremally tiny rooms even for Paris, tiny standup showers, sweltering hot in the Summer as no air conditioning no air flow, no room safes, rundown and in need of repair. Friendly staff and nice location.

If you want the Ritz, go stay at the Ritz. But if what matters is a clean hotel where you can get a good night's sleep (the beds are really nice), friendly staff and authentic charm - plus an unbeatable location - then this hotel should be on your list.

I had difficulty finding the unmarked Hotel with the broken entryway. Upon arrival I was met by a Receptionist who spoke Chinese, French and very poor English. I could barely understand her. The elevator doors were scraped and needed painting. My room was clean except for a filthy carpet. Outside my room door was a broken wall and floor board. The ceiling in the hallway also had missing tiles. I have been visiting Paris for 35 years and never experienced a Hotel in such bad shape. The safe in my room did not have a combination. It had a key; however, I was not given one. It had no Mini bar or AC as advertised. I have no idea how this Hotel got 3 stars. It should have none. No name above a broken awning. It took a little while for me to open the door and ask if this was the France Louvre. …

I will start with the positive: the location is very good, on the Rue du Rivoli near Hotel de Ville Metro, shopping, and lots of restaurants & cafes. Aside from that it was big disappointment. The photos are misleading. It is definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. It is more like a 1 star or even a hostel. Upon check-in we were immediately warned by the receptionist even before seeing the rooms that Americans are often disappointed because the rooms are so small. Small we can handle better than shabby, with stains on the carpets even in the hallways, as well as on the walls & curtains. The furniture is old & dilapidated as if purchased from a yard sale, The bathrooms in our single rooms were so tiny it was difficult to get in & out of the shower. There was a phone in my room but it was like a prop as it did not work. The safes in each of our rooms were not usable because there are no keys for them, so we had the dilemma of leaving our money & passports in the room or carrying it with us.The lights next to my bed did not work so forget reading in bed. We did not opt for breakfast so I can't comment on the breakfast room. There are lovely cafes just down the street so it is better to take breakfast out. I would not recommend for a summer stay as there is not air conditioning & only a tiny little portable fan which would be useless. I also would not recommend for a romantic stay either since there is no charm to it due to being so rundown. If the owner spent some money on paint, new carpet & curtains this hotel could be very charming & then it would be a 3 star. The staff is pleasant. …

This was a Priceline buy but not a mistake. It needs a tad more work but what is a hotel for? Bathroom, shower and sleep. You shouldn’t be spending the day. Not far from the Batobus stop and h Louvre is about a 20 min walk. Plenty of food options around as well

Well...The location is very good, that's about it. Bad customer service, the receptionists spoke barely any english, the room looked absolutely nothing like the photos on Tripadvisor/booking.com, the room was very grimy and dirty, so much water damage on the ceiling and walls. Overall it was one big disappointment. Stay somewhere else.

This is the funniest little hotel! If you are wanting a 4 star+ Paris experience then this place may not be for you, as it is quirky, old and needs a little more TLC but looks like they've done the best they can with an old property. The room I had was tiny and that was a larger room. One small room with a bed, desk, small wardrobe and adjacent small bathroom. The breakfast room is a basement area, but serviceable. I have food allergies so out breakfast out as they cant accommodate special diets. The lift is super small, if you have a lot of luggage you may have to put it in the lift and then you walk up the stairs up yourself. ** However, for the price in this location it is very good value! The room was quiet so slept well and I found the staff friendly and helpful, spoke pretty good english, and the wifi was good. It can be a bit hard to find this Hotel, luckily I caught a cab from Orly airport (price capped at Euro37) and I asked the driver to point out the Hotel sign (up high so look up for it), so I wasn't left in the lurch on the sidewalk. The entry door is standard size, not double doors and black with no name, so hard to see it. I would recommend this hotel, I really enjoyed my stay, the quirkiness, and the location you can't fault for the price. Enjoy Paris!!…

Decent Hotel! Close to principal attractions however my room was small and A/C was not good, there was just a little fan, definitely not enough! Staff was nice and helpful! The hotel location is a must basically you can walk everywhere! A little bit priced!!!

Although the staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel itself is in very bad shape. Our room didn’t have AC. The bed sheets were mediocre. The surfaces of the room were not clean. We stayed 4 nights, they never cleaned our room once. Never received fresh towels.
