The hotel was booked through a travel agent who told us the hotel was 4 star. Overall we would rate it as 2.5/3 star. Rooms were small, the hotel was quite dated and some of the staff had very limited English. The location was superb. Very close to a tube station with shopping and tourist attractions close by. Breakfast was...

We arrived before our room was ready but the reception desk were most helpful in providing us with information and booking tours for us that night and next day. Room was well fitted out and met great standards of cleanliness and comfort. Would return to this hotel.

Great hotel in a great location. No complaints at all. Staff really nice and helpful, room a great size with everything we needed. Most rooms face inwards and don't have a great view but we wasn't there to look out the window. Will return for sure.

When looking for a hotel in Paris around the Opera area, this one seemed very nice, large rooms, central and with apparently comfortable public areas. However, when we arrived at 13.00 we were sent away for two hours because the room was not ready. OK we accepted that. We had booked a superior room, as most of the others were...

My partner and I stayed here in the lead-up to Christmas, so the room was expensive, but so were most hotels at this time of year. The room is very modern with a huge bathroom and comfortable bed. The room is also furnished with a desk, chair, TV and fridge. Everything in the room was perfectly clean. Our room, on...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
