Hotel de l'Empereur was a pleasant surprise. It was in a very quiet area in the 7th arrondissement (some might say too quiet) and about a 3 minute walk to the nearest metro stop. We had read on previous reviews that the rooms were tiny - the room WAS small but not to the point that it was annoying. And...

It felt a little off the beaten path as the neighborhood was quiet. But in reality it was walking distance to many attractions and close to a useful Metro location. Hotel is a boutique hotel and looked a little old when I first walked in but the room was clean and well appointed. Would stay here again.

This hotel exceeded our expectations for its cleanliness, comfortable bed, good location, I.e. proximity to the metro system, tourist attractions, groceries and restaurants. The hotel is pretty small but that makes the staff very personal. By the way, you can help yourself to the brewed coffee as though you are at home! That adds to the charm of the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel after a nightmare queue through passport control on a Friday night. Really good spot however a strong stench of stale cigarette smoke as we walked in. The room was lovely. Probably the largest we have had in Paris. Great size bed, dressing table area, huge bathroom with rainfall shower and towel rail. All decorated really...

Hotel is in great shape. Room was excellent with great view. We were on 6th floor. Located only minutes away from metro lines and good restaurants. Eiffel tower a short 15-20 minute walk. As is normal in city hotels the elevator was small but worked great.

A smaller hotel with great views over the city and war museum. Walking distance to the Eiffel tower. Close to railway station and on bus route. Excellent situation. The room is very clean with TV. The shower and other facilities is great. Very neat and clean with very friendly and helpful staff.

We've now been here four times and it seems like the hotel adds improvements each time we come. For us the location is ideal, on a quiet side street with a view of the dome of the Invalides. There are a lot of nice little places to eat, shop or have a drink in the area. It's an easy walk...

Everything was neat and clean and of good quality. Nice warm, big towels. Balcony with table and chairs, but no view of Eiffeltower for us. Near metro station and we walked to the Eiffeltower. Lots of places to eat nearby.

We stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed it immensely. Room had a lovely view of the Hotel des Invalides and large windows you could open to get fresh air. Spotlessly clean and comfy king size bed. Superb renovated shower room with all the bells. Room was a little small but we spent very little time there! We walked most days...

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel de L'Empereur for 4 nights. The hotel is very conveniently located in the 7th arrondisment, just a short walk (1-2 minutes) from the Le Tour Maubourg stop. There are many restaurants in the area also Rue Clar is very close. From the hotel we walked to the Eiffel Tower every night. It...

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
