This is a real shame as the hotel is ideally situated and reception staff were so welcoming.

On my day of check out the cleaners entered the room twice without knocking. First time was around 9.20am and I was still in bed so I shouted for them to get out. Second time was 10.15 or so. I was just getting dressed and they fully opened the door again with not even a knock so I screamed as I was terrified asking them to get out. The door opened to a corridor anyone could have seen into the room.

Check out was 12pm. I left an hour early even though I’d a late flight and would not leave my cases so I didn’t have to go back.

I am still shaken by this as a solo traveller this is awful. It really sullied an otherwise nice stay but as it’s such an invasion I cannot but reflect this in my review.

Average hotel in a good location.
The room was the size of a cupboard.
The shower wasn’t really one, just 30 cm next to the washbasin and no fridge in the room.
But all in all clean and rather ok for a one night business stay.
But…this is by no means a 4 star hotel , so if you’re looking for a “boutique experience” look further

The hotel is very well located and connected, in the heart of the Ópera neighborhood.
The staff treated us correctly.
The room and bathroom are in good condition and maintenance. Cleaning, adequate.
There are also infusions, and an electric kettle. And a bottle of water (which they refill).
Being a double room (and not a small one), the space is limited. There is no space for tables; In its place are two closets, very narrow. And one of them is occupied by the teapot. Therefore, there is little space to store clothes (worse for more than one person).
It would also be convenient, in the bathroom, to have some shelves; since space on the sink countertop is limited.
The air conditioning was not activated, even though the weather was already very autumnal. He would have been grateful to have been able to use it for some time.
The first night you couldn't tune in to any television channels. Circumstance that was resolved the next day.
The overall assessment is positive. And it is already among our favorite hotels for a stay in Paris.

This is a very good hotel in a good location with good transport connections and good service.

We checked in at 11:45 with a polite and helpful young man, who gave us a map of Paris and the username and the password for the wi-fi. He also said hello us every time he saw us from then onwards.

The room had a teak floor which still had the nice smell of fresh wood. There was a kettle in the cupboard with tea, coffee and milk. A bottle of Cryo mineral water was also provided, but there was no mini-fridge. Everything in the room was in perfect condition.

The bathroom had a full size bath, a heating towel rack and Nuxe toiletries: Soap, 1 shampoo, 1 shower gel, 1 body lotion.

The hotel has an inner yard with some tables and chairs, which is certainly lovely in the summer.

You can walk to Gare du Nord in 15 minutes, the Cadet metro station is 2 minutes away from the hotel.

The breakfast was good (4 kinds of cheese, ham, salami, croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, breads, jams, Nutella, cereals, coffee machine) and it was replenished regularly.

When we checked out, the lady at the reception was pleasant and helpful.

We can warmly recommend this hotel.

I was concerned after reading a negative review 😩
So was delighted to find a beautiful hotel , room was fab the beds were super comfy and the pillows!!
The breakfast was continental but plenty of choice 😍
The location was great with 3 metro stops in easy walking distance of less than 5 mins .

I travelled with my daughter who is 19 , we want to thank the lovely staff who looked after us on reception where nothing was too much trouble .

Would highly recommend and definately would return in a heartbeat.

Thank you

Sue and Mia

I travelled to Paris with my partner for 3 nights and after reading some negative reviews, I was slightly concerned but I'm very happy we chose this hotel as it was perfect!

The hotel is beautiful, clean and new with friendly staff. Everyday when returning back to the room after a hot walk, touring Paris we walked into a clean room with fresh, clean towels - perfect!

The aircon did get turned off at around 9pm but they provide you with a fan which we kept on all day and night and was ok for us. We positioned the fan at the end of the bed. Ideally it would be better for the aircon to remain on.

The hotel breakfast was continental and delicious with plenty of choice. It was fresh and throughout the morning it would get topped up.

The location was great with metro stops in easy walking distance.

My only request would be for the rooms to have a mini fridge, as I like to buy drinks etc from a local shop to stay cool.

I highly recommend and would personally take the negative comments with a pinch of salt!

Thank you

When I search for hotels, I always use the filter about air conditioning. When searching for hotels in Paris, I did as usual, and found New Lafayette hotel, which as per the website has air conditioning. The moment I enter the room, it us hot as really hot and the air conditioning not working at all. When I asked the careless receptionist, she said that maybe there's a problem, so maybe she can do something, however at 19:30 it would be switched off. When I complained about it, she just said to speak with the manager the next day and ignored me.
Leaving the window open for some air, since the room is 2×4 meters, is an option. However you can hear EVERYTHING from the apartment on the adjacent building, even when they close the microwave!
So, I wouldn't recommend this place at all, if sleeping is in your plans.

Dear Giovannia, we are sorry for this situation, we assure you that we are doing everything possible to repair the air conditioning, the failure is beyond our control and we must wait for the deadlines of the company for the missing pieces due to a supply problem. We hope you enjoyed your stay in Paris. Best regards

A really stylishly decorated small boutique hotel which was clean and comfortable. A plentiful continental breakfast was available in the morning in the basement. Staffed by a minimum amount of people (which appeared to work quite well) who were very helpful.

We have just stayed at this hotel and feel compelled to write a review. Tidy enough(but in no way is this four stars)hotel with a metro(cadet)close by. We booked a family room and were told this was on the 5th floor but the lift wasnt working. A young guy was most helpful and carried one of the bags up with us. The air con wasnt working so the same guy came up to say it was then after much deliberation decided it wasnt. I walked down the stairs to talk to the duty manager who dismissed me and said the aircon was working. I said could he check and he said no. At this point I told him i would not be staying in that rom as it was like a sauna. Finally after about 40 minutes my wife and 2 children and i were moved into separate rooms, where again the aircon wasnt working.the man working behind the desk with a big diamond pendant around his neck was rude, dismissive and didnt once admit the problem or at any point apologise. We all had a terrible nights sleep and had to get up early for a journey to Lyon
I spoke to the manager in the morning who listened to my complaint about the problems and the duty manager to which she replied a quick sorry and goodbye.
I advise all travellers to consider this when booking as they really do not care for their guests

We were a little worried about our stay with the hotel due to previous reviews but it was absolutely lovely.

Room was small but clean and beds very comfortable. Nice bathroom with bath and shower. Air con was working!! We were on the 3rd floor and the lift was working!!

Breakfast was good - lots of selection with meats, cheese, cereal and breads.

Quiet area of Paris with easy access to metro. Nice restaurants in area and local supermarkets to get supplies.

Walkable to Sacre-Coeur!

All in all a very nice quiet hotel with good facilities. Would recommend!
