My first visit for 4 nights was lovely. I had a nice - but small - room on the 3rd floor which was quiet and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and a very reasonable price. When I came back for an additional night prior to returning to the US,... More

We only stayed in this hotel for one night but it was clean and had a funky decor throughout. The room was quiet but the staff (at least the people we encountered) weren't overly friendly but weren't rude either. If you're looking for a clean place to literally store your bags while you're out in Paris and to sleep, this... More

Great little find not too far out from main attractions. Comfortable rooms and very pleasant surroundings and staff. Only negative really was I was here for 7 days. 4 of those days was 33 degree + heat and air-conditioning broken. Staff didn't seem too clued up about it, just it was broken. No provisions for this

Conveniently located, this is a very friendly hotel with character. The rooms are clean, bathrooms small but modern and the breakfast outstanding, if a little expensive. The staff are attentive and the hotel is right by a metro stop.

Brittany Hotel is in a great location for exploring Paris, it's in walking distance from the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. It's also in a great location for restaurant and bars. Very close to the Metro. The hotel itself has a quirky modern decor, however the room we got was a little small and the balcony blocked by exterior design.... More

My dad & I stayed at the Brittany Hotel in June. It is a clean lovely, little hotel in a good location in Paris. When we arrived they had assigned us a double room which was incorrect but when we asked them to change it to a twin room as per our booking there was no issue & the customer... More

Booked last minute ish for a weekend trip. Ideal location - 15/20 mins to Gare du Nord (walking), 10/15 mins to Sacre Coeur (don't forget the hill), close to Moulin Rouge if you had a desire to see that and about 20 mins down the Seine. The neighbourhood is great. Loads of restaurants, a couple of supermarkets for stocking up... More

I was really disappointed this time around. I had a great experience here last year, but I got a different room, and wow, what a difference. My room had shabby, banged up furniture that looked like it came from a yard sale. The carpet was very worn and coming up in the doorway to reveal that it had just been... More

Brittany Hotel was recommended to us by a relative who visits Paris regularly. We were only in Paris for one night at the end of May, and required a central location and good proximity to the Eurostar. Brittany fiiled those requirements. We arrived later than expected after a very long day travelling from Peregaux - having been caught up in... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
