Almost a five star recommendation.....staff very friendly, location mid point to Eifel Tower and Arc...good number of tasty restaurants close by. Shower very good, rooms well appointed, lighting good, good curb appeal, we had deluxe room plenty of space, other rooms smaller. Travel to/from airport too expensive to book through hotel, but felt we were stuck with that as we...

Okey, it may be a little 'snug' but the rooms are very tastefully decorated, very well laid out. For myself, I would definitely consider this a five star hotel. The location is excellent, with the metro and the effiel tower within walking distance. The only thing I would caution is that the food in Paris is very expensive and often...

Great location for sightseeing, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were good and always kept clean. Breakfast was good ,we had the buffet and all the food was fresh. Drinks in the lovely bar are not cheap so beware if you stop for a nightcap, but then you are in Paris where nothing comes cheap....

Our stay was only for two nights during a stopover . The breakfast was included in the package and was really nice and a good assortment of food. My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff did not know English and I was trying to tell them we needed more towels, which they didn't understand. Also the shower was complicated...

The location is great.. a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, and 10 minutes to Champs Elyssees. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The lobby and hotel are beautiful. Our room was a little on the small side, we had 2 beds for my son and myself. Although the room was small it was perfect & seemed redone....

My wife and I stayed here for few days for our anniversary. The location is great and easy to find and you are very close to the Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe and the Sienne. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained and our room was very nice, if a little small. The breakfast was great and I would recommend...

For this trip we booked with costcos. Our hotel in london was excellent and we were excited for our next stop in paris. The hotel seemed nice upon arrival. However the room we were assigned(219) did not have functioning ac. When we called to complain the night manager came to the room an said the air was working. We said...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
