We stayed here two nights. The location is great although in summer, there may be issues with the outside noise levels (we could hear people talking). Staff was very friendly, which was very appreciated. The room was disappointingly small compared to the website photos and it was not to a good standard either. For a couple wanting a romantic stay...

This is a small hotel located in the heart of Montmartre, only a 10-minute walk from Sacre Coeur and just a few minutes away from a huge number of cafes and restaurants, all offering good food and wine. Abbases Metro station is about 2 min walk with good connection to central Paris. Our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking...

The Timhotel Montmartre is a quaint, clean and well positioned hotel. Close to Gare du Nord, the Metro and a wonderful cafe district. The Moulin Rouge and Sacre Cœur. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in the perfect area for Montmartre for both day and nighttime, but very handy, if you have been out and about in the Centre of Paris, to come back to be able to step out on an evening to lots of bars and restaurants, or if you prefer to say close to the hotel during the day,...

We liked the location Montmartre is lovely, unfortunately we stayed in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the square,in the early hours we were woken by noise from people sitting in the square making a LOT of noise. The hotel staff were really nice and on arrival and departure were brilliant organising taxis etc. Use the metro...

Hotel is situated in a quite alcove on the way up to the top of Montmarte hill. It has small but comfortable rooms with a powerful shower and wi-fi. No bar or restaurant but has a small breakfast room. There are numerous bars and restaurants within a few hundred feet along Rue de Abesses.. Abbesses Metro station is about 200...

We stayed at the Timhotel Montmartre for out weekend trip to Paris and had an amazing time. The hotel was lovely, with helpful staff and in a great location with a spectacular view from the balcony. Breakfast was great and the hotel is very close to the station Abbesses which we used to get around Paris to see the main...

I found this hotel on lastminute.com and booked a 1 night stay for myself and my girlfriend last weekend. The price was pretty good for the area, but when we arrived and checked in, the room we were given was FANTASTIC. From one window was a beautiful view of the Eiffel tower, illuminated over Paris and from the other was...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
