Detailed Reviews
I stayed in the Hotel Astoria Astotel at the end of February for 3 days with my daughter. We stayed in a basic room which was small but had plenty of storage. Beds were comfortable and it had a good sized shower. Also included was a mini bar which was stocked with lemonades and water free of charge. The decor of the hotel was modern and quirky, we loved it.
Breakfast was included .Choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, meats, cheeses, various breads and pastries with jams and spreads. There was bacon, sausages scrambled and boiled eggs, fruit juices and hot drinks. All the food was excellent and we were well looked after by T J and the lovely lady who worked along side him.
In the afternoon / evening there were free hot and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits and sweets.
The hotel is close to several metro stations.
On the Sunday we checked out at 10.30 and the hotel was keeping our cases until 6pm as we had a late flight. We had booked for the Lourve however it was the first day it was closed because of the coronavirus. We headed to montmarte to wander about unfortunately as it was raining heavily there were no artists out and we ended up soaking wet. We went back to the hotel about 2.30 and the staff were so helpful. They let us get changed into dry clothes and we were able to stay in the lobby and avail ourselves of hot drinks until we left for the airport at 6pm.
This is a great hotel with lovely staff and I would recommend it to anyone looking a good reasonably priced hotel.

when we got to hotel we were welcomed by a very friendly chap on reception who checked us in and told us how to get up to our room. the hotel struck us as clean but old and in need of revamp. on entering our room we were suprised at how small it was and if I am honest we were dissapointed, but its saving grace was the bathroom which was modern with a large walk in shower.the room also had tea making facilities and a free no alcohol mini bar which was great. We got used to the room and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was ok but predictable. In summary this hotel was great value for the price we paid and we did avail of their free afternoon refreshments and snacks which were also available in all of their hotels in paris of which we we visited 2/3.The staff in the Astoria and the other Astotels that we visited were among the friendliest that we have ever encountered. We would recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget but personally we would stay at one of Astotels 4* hotels next time for extra comfort

This hotel is a small charming hotel located on a quiet street and just a two minute walk from the Rome Metro Station. My room rate included breakfast daily and found it an excellent way to start my day. There’s a coffee machine, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, ham, sausage. Croissants and several breads and pastries. Taj the waiter was a delight and helpful with questions on what and where to go. The front desk was quick, courteous and efficient and very nice. The room is small, but clean and adequate. Free water and soda in the minibar. The elevators are very small. After 2pm and into the night there’s free water, iced tea and three types of soda, along with cookies and pretzels - it’s help yourself and free! I walked or took the metro from the hotel to all the places I visited in Paris. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. To save $45 in getting from CDG to the hotel, just take the REH B from CDG and transfer at Gare du Nord Station to Metro line 2 and get off at Rome Station. $10.30 EUR including the metro. 2 minute walk to the hotel. Great hotel and great location.

We have stayed here for a short period,3nights, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we didnt have brekfast here so i have no comment about that, but they offer free snacks and coffee at the afternoon. the room was clean though it was very small, they didnt have their airconditioning working because its seasonal and they only turn it on during summer but i think they should mention it as some people cant stand the heat even in may, the elevator is so small but it shouldn't be a problem if you are a family of 3 and no stroller, we had to put the stroller in reception as it was no room for that in our room.
They close the entrance door and it opens with your room key which is a good safety soloution for paris, the location is awsome as you can access almost every where with bus or train or metro all are good and easy to use, you just need to walk around 1min to access the bus or metro station and then go to eiffel tower or arc triomph or even monmarte neighborhood with just one bus! As a general opinion it is a good hotel to book if you use it just for sleep and wont spend ur time mainly in hotel.

The Astoria staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel offers snacks 2pm-late for free and free minibar access (a small selection of soft drinks) which was enjoyable. The interior of the Astoria is really quirky, modern and bright however the actual room itself was fairly basic and lacked character. The walls are thin and the decor is in need of restoration in places.

Dear Jackbridges9, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We are step by step adding more character to our rooms and hope to be able to let you enjoy them in a near future. Please do not hesitate to contact us next time. This was my third time staying at an Astotel property, and first time at the Astoria. This one, like all the others, offers a comfortable, if simple, experience. The hotels are designed in a minimalist, modern style. In this hotel, for example, they have used wallpaper to create the impression of a headboard; there is a closet, but no door on it. What there is: a well sized, bright room, a minibar that's free and restocked daily, a decent breakfast (breads, jams, lunch meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, yogurts, cereal, etc), an afternoon snack bar with cookies, candies, nuts, etc., and a very friendly staff. This particular Astotel is located on a quiet street, close to at least two metro stops (Europe and Rome), busses, etc. There are several restaurants close and all other conveniences. It's pretty close to Parc Monceau, which is a nice breather. I will definitely stay at an Astotel when next in Paris and would consider staying at the Astoria again, if the location was convenient for my visit. Attached pictures are of the room, the snack bar, and the street outside the hotel.

We flew in to France for business but decided to extend our stay in Paris. I love the location of this hotel because it's near Opera district (4 bus stops away) BUT the area is not as touristy or crowded. We were pleasantly surprised because there is a free mini bar in our room and it was restocked daily with drinks. In the afternoon, the hotel provides free drinks and snacks to the guests at the reception. We got a standard room so it wasn't huge, but the toilet is spacious which I like. Breakfast spread was great and thank you Tej for being very charming and welcoming! Definitely recommended!

Stayed for 7 days last October. Tej prepared breakfast everyday and sat down with us to teach and make sure we got to our daily destinations the fastest and cheapest way possible. He is a true gentleman and expert at his trade. Arlene was the sweetest. She looked after our little toddler for a bit when I had to rush to the pharmacist at the corner (hotel is in an excellent location). William, a former national power lifter. repaired some lighting issues we had at the room instantly. It's a plus if you want tips on increasing your back squat and deadlift, he's the man to talk to! It was our first time to travel to Paris as a family and we truly enjoyed our stay at The Astoria. The place is near everything. It was so easy to get to Disney since the station is a few steps away. The hotel is also quite popular and accessible so taxis and Ubers had no problems picking us up right in front. The rooms were very clean and replenished with soda, juice and snacks each time the room is made free of charge. The Astoria is a great hotel made even more special because of its warm yet professional staff. We absolutely loved our stay. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend. 5 out of 5.

This is a great hotel. The young gentleman who checked us was very friendly. He told us that as our room was ready we could check in early at 11am. He provided us all the information needed about the hotel without any prompting.
The breakfast was high quality, plentiful and replenished regularly. Everybody we had any contact with at the hotel was friendly and professional. Ned took especially good care of us during our breakfast.
There is a kettle and a free minibar with soft drinks in the room. They also provide free soft drinks and snacks in an area close to the reception every afternoon. The room was bigger than many hotel rooms in Paris are, and it had a full size bath in the bathroom.
The connections are good as there are several metro stops and metro lines within walking distance.
We would happily stay in this hotel again.

We stayed here as a family, with two rooms with doors that could be kept open behind one door. Everything was really good, with excellent attention to detail, e.g black out curtains, free minibar fridges and a good selection of complimentary snacks and drinks available downstairs, next to the relaxed seating area. It all felt very generous. The receptionists were very helpful and special recognition to Merly at breakfast for being so friendly and attentive and making everything run smoothly. Really good breakfast, all fresh and great selection. Good quiet location, with cafes and metro nearby. Recommended.
