The lobby was cozy and conducive to rest. The owners have put a lot of thought into how they can make the style of the hotel unmistakable. The old telephones (which also worked), the use of large mirrors in the room to optically counteract the narrowness, the photo wallpaper with a view of the city. They made the most of the limited space in the old building. In the single room, for example, you have an open bathroom separated by a small wall. The ventilation in the bathroom worked well. The air conditioning as well. You could choose between different programs: air, dry, cool. If you had a balcony in front of the room, you could see the triumphal arch. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. You could also order omelets or fried eggs in the kitchen. There was also a kettle, cups and tea bags and instant coffee in the room. We thought that was great. As for the location: it is 2 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and at the Charles de Gaulle Etoile metro station. A parking garage is also right in front of the door if you arrive by car; it is of course chargeable.

Disliked · There was no magnifying mirror in the bathroom, nor could one be provided upon request. Since that's part of the standard, I didn't bring my own. Otherwise the hotel was more than adequately equipped with mirrors. You could have left out one or the other for a magnifying or make-up mirror.

This hotel has a perfect location just a stone-throw away from busy areas, but still without any noise or disturbance at night. The staff was very helpful and friendly with all of our requests. The room was small but modern and clean. We will for sure come back again.

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt happy at this hotel. The lovely front desk lady was so warm and kind. I chose the place because my Pug was named Stella, but I am glad I did, and I will stay there again. It was a good value, and the location near the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees could not be beat. The best part was the cafe on the corner, Le Vin Coeur! A handsome waiter named Saif, and fabulous fois gras and champagne rose.

My friend and I got a city view double and LOVED seeing the arc de triomphe from our balcony! The rooms are small (most are in the city), but are modern and clean. I saw several reviews complaining about how you have to return the key when you leave your room. My friend and I actually found this to be convenient as we didn't have to worry about losing the key, the cleaning staff freshened our towels and did not touch the rest of our belongings, the front desk staff was always there and incredibly friendly, helpful, and timely. The staff even went the extra mile to make sure we had taxis scheduled for the airport during the strikes and protests to make sure our travels went safely and smoothly. I would definitely stay here again for the location, price, and great staff!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience ever in my life, completely unprofessional and arrogant, rude staff which don't care about their guests.
during my stay i discovered my room had ants everywhere. in the bathroom, on my bad, in the room, in my shoes. when i discovered the insects, i have made a complaint and asked to be moved to another room. i was told there were no rooms available and was informed by the receptionist that they have never heard anyone complaining about ants, and it is the first time somebody mentions that. in 30 seconds the receptionist gives me a spray against ants and i get an advice to go and spray the ants in my room and open the windows. like.... are you serious?
i decided to move out as it was impossible to stay in the room and sleep with ants in my bed, so i made a request to return me the amount i have paid for the room as this is anti-sanitary, which was declined. so i had to walk out at night and urgently seek for another hotel to stay. i requested to talk to the manager and everybody was literally hiding their manager from me, who mysteriously is constantly unavailable, but they spoke to him just 5 minutes ago! or he was just at the hotel, but what a shame! he just left! after talking and complaining to booking.com even they were not able to claim the refund on not used nights, which is a complete rip off.
everybody is avoiding contact and is not capable of resolving the problem, this is unacceptable to act like this and be extremely arrogant and rude with the guests. avoid at all costs, and could be good to call the sanitary services to check the hotel, wish they will clean it one day, at least with their own sprays, i'm sure there is plenty at their reception!

I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference in Paris. The "Palais de Congres" is within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly. I had a very quiet room and even the air conditioning was so quiet that it did not bother my sleep. Many small bistros are within walking distance and it is also only a few minutes to the nearest metro stop. I can fully recommend the hotel and have stayed here myself five times now. I will book here again for my next stay in Paris.

I had reserved a room at a different hotel for 9 nights. I liked what I saw with the pictures of the room. When I got there It was a whole different story! I wont go into detail but I immediately went on the web to find a room. I found stella hotel and it had so many of the things you want at a hotel! The bed I requested was as it was said to be( Queen) The other hotel had 2 singles and wasnt put together as a double. The room at Stella was small compared to US standards, but had pleant of room to go around the bed(24 to 30 inches) The other had no room on one side and about 15 inches on the other. Stella had a refrigerator, plenty of AC outlets and had air conditioning. The front desk people are by far the best people you will ever meet or need to do business with! The lad there is awesome!! She hepled us get any tickets we need and gave us outstanding recommendations for eating out! We had french, Italian, and American food! They were all awesome!!! The hotel ahs a breakfast that was awesome also! Eggs cooked to your order, pancakes, meat rolls, pastries, and jucies and coffee! They also have a bar that you can get mixed drinks and beer. And one of the nicer things about this hotel its about 3 blocks from the Arch of Triumph!
If you'd like to get a room and not kill the bank account this is by far the best Hotel you can get!!
I highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!!

Perfect location close to (and within sight of) the Arc de Triomphe. Recently refurbished small hotel. Helpful reception staff. Room small but adequate, especially with its (small) balcony and clever use of a cityscape mural to make the room feel bigger. Fridge, safe and kettle. Didn't try the hotel breakfast.

Hi, From Eurostar train station (Gare du Nord), the easiest would probably be grabbing a taxi or a Uber. Metro will work too. You will need to stop at station "Charles De Gaule Etoile", and take exist "Carnot"

Hi, without any doubt, DO NOT take the RER to reach us from the airport. It's by far the most complicated option. The best option, apart from taxi, is to use the "Bus Direct" shuttle bus, which is a direct public shuttle, that stops 50 meters above the hotel. It's quite cheap (less than 15 euros per person), quite fast (1 hour from CDG, 45 mins from Orly), and extremely convenient (it stops almost infront of the hotel)
