Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is with regret I have to leave this negative feedback. On checking in we where asked for 60.00 euros deposit which would be refunded on departure, which we accepted. Yet the refund were never made until my credit card company got involved and refunded without delay. We are a mature couple who did not add any charges for any services within the stay further more we returned back 7 hours later to collect the luggage, again nothing advised to charges. If you intend to stay at this accommodation we recommend due care taken if any deposits are to be made BEWARE.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel was in a great location, not so touristy as some of the other areas. Very close to Montmartre and Moulin Rouge. Room had a balcony view with nice huge full window double doors. The food and drinks in the refrigerator are not complimentary.

Horrendous stay! 500 euros for 2 nights to be stuck in a room that’s in the loft of the hotel with 1 small velux window. Rooms don’t match what’s on website absolutely poor condition. Toilet flush didn’t work early morning so that was an awful experience. Returned later in day to find it fixed but not cleaned. Sink tap hanging off its hinges, TV sat on a chair sellotaped, table lamp but no bulb in it. Hotel corridors are in darkness at night no automatic switch on. Returning from dinner to find water coming through the ceiling at reception area. 3 days to get your refund back for a deposit on the mini bar - total joke. Will not be back and won’t recommend. Only positive was the bed was ok and the staff were polite.

It is the most reasonable hotel inside Paris. At first I was apprehensive after reading the reviews. Since I am accustomed to travelling and staying in hotels, for a hotel inside Paris I can say that it was a good experience. The room and bathroom were clean. Pillows were great just as I like them, fluffy and hotel grade. The staff and reception were always helpful and friendly. They gave me what I asked and needed, for ex. electric fan. I highly recommend for business travellers who need to stay inside Paris or for travellers that are busy touring and sight-seeing. You can always come back, clean-up and have a good night's sleep.

This is a smallish three star hotel which measures up very well in terms of comfort, cleanliness and service. The staff in particular are very obliging and friendly. Located within 10 minutes of three different metro stations serving different lines it makes access to the city very easy. It gives good value in a city where hotels can be very expensive.

Traveled the world over the past few decades and this is by far the worse hotel we’ve ever stayed at. What kind of ghetto motel that calls themselves a Hotel is this? Checked in, the door doesn’t even lock. The 24 hour concierge is non-existent and there is zero security from the lobby, to the elevator, to any room in this motel. First night, two bites, brushed it off, second night bites all over. You guessed it, bed bug infestation. See posted photos. Tried to change rooms at least, nope, all booked. Weird, checked on line and there was full availability. I can’t even imagine what kind of COVID or Monkey Pox germs exist in this ghetto hole. Don’t understand how they can still exist in such a competitive industry. Simply pathetic.

We were extremely disappointed with every aspect of the hotel starting from the very moment we walked into our room to find that it did not match the picture that was displayed on the website when we made the booking. The room felt dingy and dirty and we found a used Q-tip left on the nightstand and somebody else’s partially drunk water bottles left in the mini refrigerator. Unfortunately the day that we arrived was during an extreme heat wave so it was incredibly disappointing to learn that our building had no air-conditioning and we had to rely on a small rotating fan which was not sufficient to cool down the room. When we came back in the evening to go to bed, we opened some windows to cool down the room, but we were unable to sleep with the loud noise coming from the street. We closed the windows turned on the fan and slept outside of the sheets in attempt to stay cool. Upon waking we were drenched in sweat and in need of a shower. Our first attempt to take a shower was useless as we learned that the shower hose was broken and the drain was so clogged that within one minute the shower began to flood onto the bathroom floor. That morning we reported the incident to the front desk and with no apology they stated they would send somebody to resolve the issue. So we went about our day feeling sticky and unclean until returning later that afternoon. Later when we returned, the desk informed us that the drain had been unclogged but the shower hose remained unfixed. When we entered the room there is a strange smell and the drain was in fact unclogged but we were completely disgusted to find that all of the contents of the clogged drain including clumps of hair and gunk were left in our trashcan. We immediately brought down the trashcan full of this disgusting residue and without an apology your night shift front desk worker discarded the trash and told us he would make management aware. We proceeded to shower however due to the broken hose water was being sprayed all over, soaking the entire bathroom to the point where the towels and toilet paper were drenched. In addition to the shower hose being broken the toilet paper holder and towel bar were both broken and falling off the wall. By this point we wanted to have nothing to do with your hotel. Our checkout was the following morning so we decided to stay the night in hopes of being able to speak with a manager and ask for some compensation for our troubles. The next morning when we voiced our concerns to your staff member we learned that they are completely incompetent at dealing with our concerns. This time we were dealing with your daytime employee and not only was he not aware of the situation with the trashcan but he was making up excuses that the night shift employee must have been too tired to report the issue. Having worked in front desk operations for Marriott, it is completely unacceptable when issues like this are not properly documented, communicated, and taken seriously by the staff and the hotel management. We thought that it was only fair that we be completely refunded for one night of our two night stay, but we were told by your front desk that only a manager was authorized to refund our money. He proceeded to check us out and told us that we would be contacted by his manager, Lina, as soon as she came in later that day. When we asked what time she would be available his response was “I don’t know”. How is it possible for your employee to not even know when the manager will be on-site? We waited until later in the afternoon to call the hotel in hopes to speak with Lina, but the same employee answered our call and rudely replied the manager is not in and he has no idea when she will be arriving, but that she would be calling us. It has now been five days since we checked out and we have still received no call from a manager. We are in complete disbelief that a hotel can operate so poorly.

The rooms are very basic to say the least. No phones/few plugs and quite dark. However, very clean and a good TV. Location fantastic. But most importantly the staff are fantastic. They are so friendly and helpful it made the hotel experience most enjoyable. Its a family run business and I feel they are doing their best. Thanks for a great holiday. Stayed in family rooms first floor.
