Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this hotel. It was quiet and very clean. There was a metro strike but everything we needed was within walking distance (restaurants, shopping, etc). Would definitely stay there again, we loved the Montparnasse neighborhood.

We have just returned from a 3 night trip to Paris and chose this great little hotel . The hotel is tastefully decorated reflecting the Art Deco period. Our room was small, but the bed very comfy and the bathroom is modern with large bath towels which is unusual for hotels. Breakfast was good and liked the honesty bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly . Unfortunately we were there during the strike action there was 3 weeks of uncollected rubbish in most areas we visited - we did not experience any protests whilst travelling around the capital . The street the hotel is in has a great choice of little shops , a few bars and a the very good bistro du dome where we ate on our last night. There is a market which unfortunately we missed due to timing of our trip - it’s on a Wednesday and a Saturday I believe - but would be worth checking out. I would definitely recommend this hotel x

Beautiful renovation, excellent design. All staff I encountered during my six night stay were very cordial and professional. The room was impeccably clean (the woman working during the week was extra good). I switched from a street front room to a courtyard after the first night to avoid the street noise. This request was honored swiftly and without hesitation. Only complaint would be that the hinge on the entry doors tend to slam shut quite loudly (maybe they can be adjusted?).

The Montparnasse area is our favourite area in Paris. Lenox is situated in a quiet street about 5 minutes from Luxembourg. Hotel is spotles, breakfast is excellent and staff is helpful. Rooms (and bathrooms) are small, as is typical in Paris but ar very well laid out. Only niggle is, that wi-fi isn't great.

Stayed at the Lenox Hotel for one night because it was close to the Montparnasse Train Station. We were taking the train to Duras, France the next day and wanted a short walk to the station. It is a great hotel in a very nice district of Paris and was everything we were looking for. The woman who checked us in (and all of the front desk employees) was very friendly and since our French was a little rough, we appreciated that they all spoke English. Our room was clean and pretty and a nice size. After we settled in, we asked the receptionist for a recommendation for a restaurant and she suggested one which was exactly what we were looking for! After a long walk around the very nice area surrounding the hotel and a delicious dinner, we returned to the hotel and decided to check out the honor bar. We were not familiar with an honor bar but it’s a great idea. The bar area if very nicely set up and the bar is handsome. There are a few selections of wine and a fairly good selection of spirits and mixers. We had two cocktails, filled out the slip of paper stating what we consumed and turned it into the night clerk. The bar bill was added to our room bill when we checked out the next morning. It is a great feature of this hotel and promoted socializing among the guests. The hotel is in a beautiful building and the rooms are very nicely decorated. The bathroom and shower are great! I especially liked the bottles the shampoo, etc., came in. We definitely recommend the Lenox Hotel and hope to stay there again soon!

For mine and my wifes’ first ever trip to Paris (her 1st time abroad), it was absolutely magnificent, the hotel I would personally say is walking distance (if you like to walk) to everything. The hotel and staff were more than helpful and spoke very good English. It’s great value for money and the fresh pastries on selection at breakfast is incredible. If we were to go to Paris, we would definitely be staying here again.

I love Montparnasse and Lenox might be on the best street in the neighborhood for a Paris visit. Front desk/concierge service is excellent, can't be beat. Also they have parking on-site (24€/day) so it's very convenient if you drive. Rooms are very small, so that's the trade-off.

Nice, reasonably priced, traditional Parisian 3*. I booked last minute when there was little choice, and was pleased I chose Lenox. It was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were professional and courteous. I don’t usually stay in the area but it is well linked with several metro stops and bus services within a few moments walk. I would definitely recommend and I’m sure I’ll be back

This hotel is quite simply perfect.
Not only is it beautiful and comfortable, like a home from home, the staff welcome you like family, nothing too much trouble, any advice or help given above and beyond all expectations.
Breakfast is superb! Caters for everything you could ever desire and the freshest squeezed orange juice which was just delicious. I have no words to describe how effortlessly flawless everything is.. the rooms are spacious, which in Paris is a godsend, sparkling clean with stunning original features combined with a modern chic that’s so beautiful. The bathroom is better than most London 5* hotels we have stayed in. Rituals products, crisp white towels heated for your comfort when you prise yourself from the stunning walk in shower..
Oh I adore this hotel.. it’s a slice of pure heaven!

After a long flight it was wonderful to be greeted by friendly helpful staff. The hotel appears to be recently renovated and is very nice. Beds are comfortable. Bath a room and security are very up to date. Breakfast was quite expansive for such a small property and constantly - both hot and cold options and delicious pastries. Restaurant recommendations were also excellent. Lovely neighborhood with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and metro station. Bathroom lighting was excellent but work space lighting could be better. Located near Luxembourg Gardens. Air conditioned. Would definitely stay again.

How long will constructions n be going on at the hotel?
Answer from Bob M

They did not say when we were there last September but it was not disruptive to us. They had closed off 2 floors to work, but other than when I used the stairs I really wasn’t aware they were there. The workers were very polite and made sure we could use the stairs safely.

Yes there is a laundromat about 1 block away. It is clean and the local people were very helpful. Turn left when you leave the hotel and it is on the left down the street.
