Hotel Des Mines is a perfect place if all you need is a place to keep your luggage and sleep. For the budget traveler who prefers hotel to hostel, and especially if you are a couple. This is the place. 2 minutes walk from the train station overlooking the Luxemborg garden. The area is filled with eateries and shops. All...

Terrible hotel room - small, smelly. Worst hotel on our trip. Only good thing was location. It is within walking distance to many tourist attractions like Notre Dame, St. Germain shops. Also very near metro stops.

I suppose this hotel is not bad for a 2 star. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us during our stay. There was one member of staff who was a little poor though- didn't catch his name but he is young, dark haired and often covered the night shift- he's very...

This hotel has won my heart among 3 different hotels I stayed in Paris area recently. You get what you pay for so, the rooms are very small but adequately equipped. The small desk and chair, the safe, and the bathroom's shower which may be couldn't accomodate the larger body type was absolutely sufficient for me. Again, the room with comfortable...

Very friendly staff and really clean rooms. The hotel itself is very close to a few really nice restaurants and shops. The beds are welcoming and cozy. The air conditioning in our room, however, was only giving out hot air. But we just opened the window instead and let some cool air in. Definitely would stay again, as the location...

Arrived from a trip across the channel by train, short train trip from the Grand Nord. Small personnel hotel. Friendly close to Notre Dame and other attractions. Just walk outside the front door and turn right and explore. Smaller rooms but it doesn't matter as you are just sleeping there. Get out and explore the city. Bus right at front...

Havibg spent time in this area of Paris in the past I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. Not the most spacious or luxurious hotel by any means, but for the price I had (80€ excl breakfast) it was more than acceptable.

We stayed at Hotel des Mines some years ago and so we decided to stay there again just recently because of its great location and good value. We were delighted to see that it has had some recent refurbishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would recommend this charming little hotel for anyone wanting a few days...

We just had a very pleasant 4 night stay at Hotel des Mines. Its location is perfect, right by the Luxembourg Gardens and the RER B train line to and from both CDG Airport and Gare du Nord train station. There are very good small restaurants close by: L'Estrapade, Le Timbre, La Bastide Odeon, Le Bistrot des Campagnes. It is...

Rooms are very small. My shower was so small that I had to step outside the shower to soap myself. WiFi is functional, but very slow at times. Everything is clean, but a bit a frayed. This is not high end luxury pampering. However, the location is excellent, next to the Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter, right on a...
