Booked a Double Room, very small, no tea/coffee. But the smell from the Bathroom. We contacted the Night Manager but there was nothing he could do and there were no spare rooms. It was late so we had to stay ehere we were. We slept with the Bathroom door closed and the Window & Blinds open. The Night Manager indicated that he knew about the problem. Emailed the Owner next day but he just ignored us. Avoid, expensive.…
This hotel was not like it appeared on the pictures. It resembled a building site where the outside tables should have been. The air con not working - very little cupboard space. The only good thing about the room was a new shower had been fitted.
We had to make an unexpected overnight stop in Paris due to travel delays - wish we had slept in the park ! the building is in need of complete repair/decoration. The receptionists are friendly and took our bags to our room up a spiral staircase and then it all went downhill - room no 3 is cramped, dirty stained toilet - filthy switches that have not been cleaned for a long time - veneer coming off bathroom door as there is no shower curtain. Pity it could be a nice boutique hotel - the rooms shown on their website are not represtntative of what you get…
• The whole building extremely destroyed, not adapted to standards and extremely dirty plus stinky • Strangely looking 2 guys at the reception did not inspire any trust in me, so I did not even take the risk to go down to the reception to complain • They just gave me the key with no “hello”, instruction about wifi, breakfast etc like all hotel receptions do, anyway it was not my wish to have any conversation with those two • There was no water in the toilet so basically you could not rinse the toilet • It was extremely noisy in the room (“paper walls” effect) I could hear everything happening in all rooms around me, below and above like all those people were in my room • The room next to me was probably inhabited by one of hotel employees, as someone was entering and leaving this room every 5-10minutes (each door opening was making huge noise, just look at door’s photos you will understand) • Everything was extremely dirty, so I got the allergic reaction pretty fast • Due to wheatear conditions I decided to survive the night at this horror place and run out as soon as possible in the morning w/o taking the pre-paid breakfast…
In a dreadful state of disrepair. Light fittings, switches and sockets barely attached to the wall. Door handles falling off. Floor coming apart in the bedroom. Ceiling falling off in the bathroom. Window and door with big gaps around them letting noise travel. Noise was so bad that I was repeatedly woken up by people and vehicles in the street and other people inside the hotel that I had to sleep with my headphones on. The ensuite in this room can't be called that - you have to sit with the door open and your legs into the bedroom because it's so small. The hot water is so hot it scolds you. I'm not sticking around for breakfast - I don't trust that what they might serve up is safe to eat. Unfortunately I booked at 2130 the night I arrived and was too tired to demand my money back and find somewhere else to stay. Glad it was only for 1 night. I don't feel like I've slept much despite being in bed for 8 hours.…
