Staff are super friendly and helpful. But as a hotel, it's quite small and very basic. Impossible to remember anything about the hotel itself other than how hot the room was and how small the lift is. Decent price and good location for the stations - which is why the place will always be popular.

We had just the best time. Staff really helpful and friendly. Our room was great overlooking the small courtyard with a comfy bed (tiny) table but enough for emails and a super bath and shower. But the highlight was the breakfast. It’s just classic Paris - but we took the discount deal for stays of 3 nights or more that’s available on arrival - and cheaper than booking in advance via other sites!

Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff, very clean, very quiet, and my favourite thing, free tea and coffee! Me and my dad had a fun time playing table football in the waiting area, very fun. Can’t think of anything that was wrong with it! 10/10 recommend

Very good hotel option close to Gare du Nord area. Young, friendly reception staff greet upon arrival. Decor and interior design of the hotel are appealing. Rooms and bathrooms are good size. I had a bedroom looking out onto a typical Parisian courtyard -- great for that 'Emily in Paris' feel. Whether it's good value for money depends of course on how much the 'dynamic pricing' sways on the day you book. There may be better deals out there.

We enjoyed our triple room with a balcony, which allowed us to take in the neighborhood scene in the evening. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great as well. Our street-facing room was a little noisy at night (traffic noise), but I assume the rooms in the back are quieter. Another bonus of this place is that the restaurant across the street — Les Rupins — is amazing!

The only reason I gave a 3 star review is: 1) there is absolute no water pressure in the shower, at least not on the 6th floor. A lower floor might be better. It was impossible to wash my hair (and my hair is not even that long or thick), it takes hours to wash the soap away from it because water stream is not strong enough. Also the water temperature fluctuate between warm and cold, a bit annoying but I wouldn’t mention it if not other issues with the shower. 2) the hotel has 1 elevator which is goddamn slow, I spent half of my time in the hotel just waiting for the elevator. Other than that, the room and premises were wonderful. I booked a single room , it’s freshly renovated, modern and very clean. It had really specious bathroom for a single room, usually those are tiny and tight, but in this hotel the bathroom was wonderful (except water pressure issue). The room has air conditioning which is adjustable and quiet, and was much appreciated during hot summer days! The hotel lobby is cute, with an adorable back yard. They have filtered water in the lobby, where you can also make flavorable soda and coffee machine always available. Breakfast was so so. I regret paying extra for breakfast, when you’re in Paris and have excellent boulangeries at every corner.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the lower floor, elevator is so slow and it takes forever to get you the 6th...

We have spent 3 nights in this hotel, which is really close to the Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est also have a metro train station nearby and bus stop, the area is ok, which plenty restaurants, bakeries and supermarket. When we arrived the person in the front desk greet us and explained that they have coffee machine, water (still/sparkling/flavours) facilities 24/7 and also microwave if we wanted to use it. The room size was pretty good and the toilet, our room was the view of the street a bit noise but nothing major that disturbing our stay. The breakfast is good you will find a hot food (eggs, sausages, beans) bread, cereals, pancakes, bread, juice and coffee machine. All the staff were very nice and polite, the last day we left our Luggage there as our train was in the afternoon, there wasn’t any problem, went we arrived to pick up our suitcases my son played a bit of foosball and I had a coffee and water I felt very welcome. Very good hotel indeed with a great staff, once we back to Paris we will stay here again!

No negatives for us. Me and my daughter came to Paris for her 17th birthday. We booked a 3 night package with Eurostar at this hotel because the price was reasonable and the reviews generally positive. Close to gare du nord/eurostar, and a metro stop just 2 mins walk from hotel. Arrived after 8pm and was a little unsure about the area at first as it was dark and the amount of graffiti makes the area seem a bit intimidating. However, the area isn't that bad and we didn't feel particularly unsafe as two women walking about even after dark. Got a very friendly welcome on arrival and found our room small but functional. The room was very clean, there's a fantastic shower, usb charging facilities and a kettle. Our room overlooked the rear courtyard so was very quiet with no street noise. Only prob we had with the room was the air con, which was very welcome considering it was hot, but wow was it noisy so couldn't have it on overnight. Metro stop jaques bonsergent is a short walk and it's easy to reach everything such as the Eiffel tower etc from there. Small supermarket near the metro stop is great for snacks and drinks. There are a lot of eateries nearby but as it was August, and the Tuesday was a holiday, many places were closed. There's a lovely bistro called la cafe Pierre on the corner of the place de la republique/ boulevard de magenta with friendly service and good people watching opportunities. The breakfast was okay, there was the usual continental fare of cheese and ham, as well as an attempt at an English breakfast with scrambled egg, bacon and strange tasting beans. I had pain au chocolate and Croissants which was nice. Could have done with a toaster though as there wasn't one. There were milk alternatives available for those like me with a lactose intolerance. All in all our stay was comfortable and good value for money.

A real shame - this place seemed very good initially. The rooms look like they have been newly refurbished and in a reasonable location near Canal St Martin and a few minutes walk from Gare de L’est. On our first evening my husband got locked in the toilet and couldn’t get out . It took two of us to unlock the door - the lock was broken. Also found something revolting on the floor of our hallway - looked like either a slug or old food . I told reception but she informed me she was too busy to come up and there was no one around to clean. The hotel was fully booked so she couldn’t move us . The second evening reported that neither of the TVs in our suite was working. The man on the desk came to have a look but couldn’t fix it . The safe in our room also didn’t work - didn’t bother reporting it after above incidents . My parents stayed in another room in this hotel - the safe in their room was completely removable so not really secure . My dissatisfaction is that there really wasn’t much care around things in our room broken / not working etc - you get the sense you just have to put up with it . It is a 3 star but the service could be much better. Other feedback - breakfast okay but a little basic- prob about right at this price range - a nice touch is a coffee machine in the lounge area - however this was frequently broken and cups were frequently dirty - aside from my complaints above the room was otherwise clean

Stayed with my daughter, 15 min walk from main Eurostar Gare Du Nord Station, hotel was clean, staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful, breakfast was varied average options for vegetarians. Hotel location was perfect plenty of eating places, three metro stations within walking distance. Definitely recommend this hotel for families and couples.
