We stayed as a couple for three nights over the last weekend. The hotel is situated in the Montmartre/Clichy area which has a good vibe about it. It is not far from Sacre Coeur Cathedral andMoulin Rouge theatre. The hotel staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Ruben, one of

Stayed for one night (Friday) as a romantic break. Hotel is convenient for all the bars and restaurants in Montmartre but tucked down a side road and was exceptionally quiet as a result. Staff were excellent, friendly and informative about the area. Room was a very good size and

My colleagues and I had the pleasure to stay at the hotel for four nights. The room was excellent although a bit small. The staff both at the reception and bar was amongst the most friendly we have met. Always very helpful and smiling. We look forward to come back. Highly

If you have a lot of bags.. Uber / Taxi. It's about 30/40 mins on the underground with a couple of changes. Take care around Gare Du Nord.

B Montmartre is less than a block (2 min?) from the Place de Clichy Metro stop. The side street is very quiet, but the Place is a commercial hub and there are literally dozens of walkable places for food and drink. There was nothing I would recommend avoiding - just depends on your taste and price range. Brasserie Le Moncey and Au Petit Poucet are literally around the corner from the hotel on the way to/from the Metro, and very different, but we loved both. I went two blocks up Rue de Batignolles to the boulangerie on the corner for croissants each morning for breakfast, to go with the in-room espresso. And there is a grocery store across the Place for any picnic provisions you may need. Montmartre is walkable from the hotel, go north through the cemetery then turn right and there are lovely cafes along Rue des Abbesses (La Villa was a favorite). But you can easily get anywhere in the city, the two Metro lines are ideal - one will take you directly to the Arc de Triomph, the other to the Grand Palais and Les Invalides. I could go on - I hope that helps!

I too took the RER B which only made 2-3 stops on the way into town thereafter getting off at Gare du Nord. From there I took the Metro to Place de Clichy. All in all about 60-75 minutes. A third the cost compared to a taxi? So it depends on how much time you have and required convenience. Personally I thought that the RER and Metro was very easy despite a large suitcase to tote around. You will love the hotel....make sure that breakfast is included, one of the best in Paris. The café on the corner (Au Petit Poucet?) is a nice people watching spot to enjoy a beer or glass of wine. Also ask reception for a few restaurant tips. We were given two and both were excellent choices. The friendly receptionist (forgot now name) seems to know a few proprietors in the area and we did not feel that he made his recommendations based on anything but to ensure that we had a pleasant meal and evening. He succeeded and we are grateful.

I did not see any playgrounds and I didn't look for any laundromats. The art in some of the hotel rooms could be considered a little suggestive or mature for a seven year old. Go to their website and click on the tab "our artwork" and make up your own mind.

The hotel does not provide transportation (1 hour) from CDG. You can get a taxi easily from the airport to the hotel for a flat rate. The hotel can arrange a private car, but the cab will be less expensive. Be sure to go to the location for cars marked as taxi, just outside the door. There will be people at the door asking if you need a ride. The price is identical to taxi, but you have no idea who is driving. Taxi drivers have been screened before hire, so there is some level of assurance. The traffic is horrendous, so sit back and relax. It will take a while to get there.
