Great location near Latin Quarter. Very handy to Luxembourg station which is on the RER B line to both Orly and CDG airports. Room was very clean and a good size, and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here on future visits to Paris.

We came back here again as it was such a good friendly hotel. We had booked single bedded disabled room as I use a wheelchair but ended up with a double bed. Air conditioning worked thank goodness as there was a heat wave. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Got us info on places to go, bus numbers, and...

We have stayed in the Hotel Cujas Pentheon in the Latin Qarters of Paris. A lovely quiet hotel. 5-7 min. walk to Luxemburg Metro Station, and approx. 15 minute walk to Nottredam Cathedral and other major attractions. Lots of great restaurants within minutes of this hotel, one being the Chinese restaurant next door. Great helpful staff, good value for Paris....

The hotel is very well located with several places of interest, such as the Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon, and Notre Dame all in easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful with suggestions as to what to do, where to go, how to get there. I would also like to point out that the staff worked very hard to help...

The hotel is simple, a single room is very small, but very clean. I had very good breakfast and the family staff was very friendly. The hotel is very well located, just 15 minutes from Notre Dam. I enjoyed it very much.

Although a 2 star hotel, it is in a very nice neighborhood, large triple room and renovated bathroom. Very clean. Near Luxemburg garden and a few block from Notre Dame, Sena River. The staff is very nice, and specially Mrs Enrica is fabulous. I had a problem with my fly back home and she helped me promptly! It is a...

The hotel is simple, my single room was small, but clean and with a great location. Bathroom could be better. Quite close from Luxemburg Gardens, several cafes, a big supermarket and the St.Germain attractions. Price was quite good for this location in Paris. The hotel is a 7min walk from the train station, good option from the airport.

This was my second stay at the hotel, both times to visit Roland Garros. I did not bother to look for any other hotels this time as there was no chance I would find anything that would suit me better. I love the area as well as the hotel, Both have a lovely atmosphere. The location is central but very...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
