It was hard to find reasonable priced hotel in Paris without horrible reviews. We were happy to choose this one. We had no trouble to find the hotel from metro, after arrival we asked for room on top where u can see top of eiffel tower. Room was small but clean and not too cold for january. Montmartre has such...

My husband and I came here for a short-and-sweet honeymoon after I had been in the UK on business for a couple of weeks. Neither of us had been to Paris before, but luckily my instincts served me well when I picked this lovely hotel in Montmarte. For young-ish urban wannabe-bohemian types like ourselves, this neighborhood really couldn't be beat....

4 of us headed to Paris for a Girls weekend... and the hotel was perfectly situated... relatively close to the Underground, to the Moulin Rouge (where we enjoyed an evening of entertainment)... not to mention the funky shops in the neighbourhood... and of course some lovely well-priced resto's! the rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.. the bathroom was...

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful hotel! The service was brilliant as was the location. Nice and close to restaurants, Moulin Rouge, trains, laundry etc... Rooms are clean, tidy and quite modern. There are no drudges in the rooms, however the staff happily stored our beverages and food in the fridge in their kitchen! I would definitely return, we...

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, room was small and shower was pretty rubbish but then we didn't go to Paris to sit in the room and I wouldn't recommend you do either!. The hotel is in a great location for monmatre and the surrounding area - rue lepiz has great smells from the food on sale, almost impossible to walk...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel des Arts for two weeks. There was an initial problem with the room we were allocated on arrival, as we had requested a double bed, but this was remedied the next day. The street was very noisy at night but the window was double glazed so this did not pose a problem...

We spent a full week here. The welcome was warm and the reception staff was very helpful with all questions, no matter if asked in French, English and even a little German (which is unusual for France). The room had a comfortable size and a window to a inside court (nice natural lighting), was well organized (closet) and needless to...

After reading previous trip advisor reviews I booked this hotel for a weekend away with my husband and was totally happy with my decision. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect in amongst the hustle and bustle of Monmartre and close to lots of great restaurants and bars and about 10 mins easy stroll from two different metro stations. The hotel...

We arrived at Des Arts and were informed that since we were staying five nights, they had moved us to a studio apartment instead of our regular double room free of charge. The desk clerk called a cab for us and told us that if we got a receipt, the hotel would reimburse us. Our apartment (the superior apartment) was...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
