When we first arrived at this hotel, the man behind the desk kept telling me they didn't have a reservation under my name. I informed him that I had been charged and gotten a confirmation e-mail but it took me showing the e-mail to him for him to finally find the reservation. He was nice about it but it was...

My room was very small, quiet and clean. In fact, so small that I hadn't noticed that I had dropped a black bra under the bed. It wasn't until I got home, unpacked and found the bra not there.. I emailed the hotel, they had found the bra, and were waiting for mailing instructions from me. They graciously mailed it...

We have been to different hotels in Paris for each stay so for, but Choiseul Opera was the one we liked the most in matters of standing and location and we will surely be back soon. We had two rooms, one double and on triple, both were great, clean, well equipped. Breakfast was good and a reasonable choice. Personally I...

Even though the hotel room is a little small but convenient. The accommodation is close to De Louvre which is also close to the metro. Thus you can just take the subway to where you want to go. Really suitable if you only need a place to sleep!

Hotel was close to transport links, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Staff left a note and chocolates in the room after mentioning that it was my anniversary. Great metro links to the shopping centres, Eiffel Tower and other monuments. The room was small but is manageable for a short stay. I opted out...

The staff was helpful and responsive, the room clean and well-maintained, nicely appointed, and well-configured for three people (a couple and a single). We stayed one night and chose this hotel for its location, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was adequate.

Myself and partner stayed here with another couple... Our room was on 4th floor, it was clean and well maintained. I couldn't fault it bar one thing, I'm over 6 feet tall and couldn't stand in the shower. They couldn't accommodate a room change because they were fully booked. Our friends on the 3rd floor had a much bigger room...

After reading some reviews we were a little bit concerned. We were very impressed with everything about this hotel from its location to its staff. Our room was small, like all European hotels, but was more than comfortable for 3 adults. Loved how they had a separate toilet. The staff were lovely as was their hotel cat, who was an...

This is my third visit to the hotel with my daughter and grandson. The first occasion we had a duplex room on the top floor with two double beds which was great. Second visit having booked the same accommodation we were given a double with sofa which shut up like being in a drawer and very uncomfortable. Room had no...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
