Hotel was close to transport links, restaurants and bars. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Staff left a note and chocolates in the room after mentioning that it was my anniversary. Great metro links to the shopping centres, Eiffel Tower and other monuments. The room was small but is manageable for a short stay. I opted out...

The staff was helpful and responsive, the room clean and well-maintained, nicely appointed, and well-configured for three people (a couple and a single). We stayed one night and chose this hotel for its location, and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was adequate.

Myself and partner stayed here with another couple... Our room was on 4th floor, it was clean and well maintained. I couldn't fault it bar one thing, I'm over 6 feet tall and couldn't stand in the shower. They couldn't accommodate a room change because they were fully booked. Our friends on the 3rd floor had a much bigger room...

After reading some reviews we were a little bit concerned. We were very impressed with everything about this hotel from its location to its staff. Our room was small, like all European hotels, but was more than comfortable for 3 adults. Loved how they had a separate toilet. The staff were lovely as was their hotel cat, who was an...

This is my third visit to the hotel with my daughter and grandson. The first occasion we had a duplex room on the top floor with two double beds which was great. Second visit having booked the same accommodation we were given a double with sofa which shut up like being in a drawer and very uncomfortable. Room had no...

Located just off the Avenue de l'Opera this hotel is is a prime position for fashion shopping and exploring Paris' landmarks. There are many bars and restaurants and theatres and clubs near by. More of this later.... The public areas of the hotel are small, limited to a reception area and the restaurant which I believe is only used for...

We booked this place for a really good price on booking.com. Paid only 142 Euros for two nights for a double room. The room was very nice with a tub and a living area with a proper couch. Personnel was really nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a central area walking distance to all attractions. We were so...

We stayed here for one night, its has a small bed for people who are tall. Great location for shopping! Nearby the subway station Opera, its very easy to find (around the corner of Hugo Boss). To bad that you can not check in 2 a 3 hours early, we arrived around twelve/ one o'clock. You can leave your luggage...

We were only here for 3 days. The location was good, close to some great premium shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was nice, clean and fresh. It seems to have undergone a recent renovation such as carpets, bedding and window treatments but the furniture was still a little dated (which was not a problem for us). The only issues...

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Paris and Hotel Choiseul Opera is all around quite a good choice. It is in a fantastic location near many restaurants and shops along with easy transport links. The front desk staff was friendly and Hotel Choiseul won me over immediately with the gentle old house cat who was the first...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
