This hotel was very clean and well located (the directions on the website from the airport and metro are spot on). The staff were all friendly, helpful, and nice about communicating in English. While the room was small, it was all-in-all a superb value, and we would absolutely recommend it or stay there again!

The hotel is very nice and the staff is cozy. The location is very incredible near Notre Dame and for a family like us it's mandatory to have an hotel from where to easily reach every important place in Paris in few minutes with the subway. Around the hotel there are all services and metro. We have been very lucky...

I spent the first week of November at the Hotel Diana and would happily return. While the room was small (this IS Paris, after all), it was spotlessly clean and fresh. My room overlooked the busy street but was very quiet when the windows were closed. The heater worked well and I could be as warm as I wished. The...

Dear Sir, We are very sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay in our hotel. Every room were renovated 2 years ago, and some a few months ago. Our elevator is very safe, regularly checked by Otis (every 2 months). It is, of course, very important for us to take care of our guests's comfort and sense of security. We...

I stayed in the Hotel Diana on five separate occasions this Fall and can confirm my previous endorsement of the place. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are small but well kept, the bathrooms are clean, and the location is unbeatable. Adding to the convenience is that there is an excellent restaurant (Le Bistro du Perigord) right next door.

I stayed at the Hotel Diana on October 12. The seasons turned a few days before and it was cold. Although when I initially complained I was told that a heater would be provided for me, when I actually came back at night and asked for it, I was told then had none (or perhaps none left). It was very...

We stayed three nights on this visit to Hotel Diana, and were pleased that the quality we saw in 2009 was still there. It is a well run and comfortable hotel, with a capable, helpful staff. Our room was large enough, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The hotel is spotless. Evenings were quiet and restful. The breakfast was...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
