Very warm welcome and large nice rooms. The breakfast was very nice. A room in Paris feels like a home in Paris. Very cosy and in a nice central area! Thank you for everything! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely are coming back soon!

The most nice people I know in Paris. They know how to make you feel comfortable and they know how to leave you with the space you need in case you want. Regarding the rooms and the house I can say that I loved the bed, the furniture and the balcony. On every wall and corner you can find nice...

I met up with my sister in Paris for 10 days and we stayed at A Room in Paris for our entire holiday. The location is excellent just a short walk form Gare du Nord and during our stay we walked and biked all over Paris from this location. Despite getting the one small room we were very comfortable and...

my boyfriend and I had made few plans for our spontaneous trip to Paris when I found aroominparis.com in an article about quaint places to stay, I wrote and got a response by morning...they had a room. After staying in several other Paris hotels, this was a breath of fresh air, the room was large, had a great vibe, clean,...

We stayed at "A Room in Paris" for three nights. The building is extremely handy (200 metres walk) for the Gare du Nord, the metro, and the RER B line for CDG airport. There is an extraordinary contrast between the bustle of the road and the area outside, and the secluded courtyard which you enter once you step through the...

Not a B&B! Hot, tiny room.. Peeling Paint... In a Paris tenement!!.Don't believe the Picture!!.An Absolute Slum! UNSAFE!!Despite the fact that we paid,in full, We FLED! WHEW!!! THe Proprieter attempted to not let Us leave! His language was abusive and foul! He turned what should have been a marvelous experience into a 'Nighmare!' STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

What a disappointing experience this is. Luckily 186 other critics are just marvellous and I'm convinced reading through all of them, no one ever will believe these horrible words I wished I could understand what came into these guests. After at least an exchange of 20 emails, they finally arrived. I helped them with their luggage carried it all up...

A room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great to arrive/depart with only a 5 min walk to train. Walkable to Montmatre and very well connected to the rest of Paris via bus and train/metro. Very good value. Breakfast excellent. Peet a great host.

An excellent location and quiet room (ours was facing the square) Peet was an excellent host with plenty of ideas for visits. A good breakfast was provided in a lovely sitting room. Our room was very large for two people with plenty of storage space but a bit "unloved". I feel that the website leads you to expect something more...

My husband and I visited Paris for three days and stayed here! Peet is such a welcoming and helpful host (makes great food too!) and our rooms were spacious and comfortable, with small fridge, fan, wardrobe and various pieces of furniture. Our room didn't include a bathroom, we used the one down the hall (includes toilet and shower) which wasn't...

Peet is a great host, friendly, helpful & gave very detailed guides on how to travel in Paris. Stayed at the tail end of our trip, our first Paris trip, exhausted but he gave simple instructions for us to view the sites. Had a fulfilling time & will be back.
