We stayed at Adriatic for 3 nights when we were in Paris. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from Gare de Lyon train station which makes it very easy to get around. The hotel is also very easy to find.

We went to Paris before Christmas 2013 and we decided to go to this hotel because its localitation and price.
We arrive to Gare de Lyon by train from the airport and the hotel is very close to ir, just 5 minutos by foot.
This hotel is by far the best 2 star hotel I have stayed in, in Paris. It is spotlessly clean, the rooms are quite big, as is the bathroom. The beds are super comfortable, the shower was great.

The rooms were a reasonable size for 2 stars and the bathroom was nice enough. The location is excellent but the soundproofing on the windows was not great and the aircon hardly made a difference. The service was excellent.
We stayed here in early August 2013 in a family room for 3. At the outset let me say that the Hotel is in a fantastic location - Gare de Lyon and Bastille (metro) are only a few hundred metres away - making this is...More

Yes, me and my husband consider that it's safe to walk on Rue de Lyon and around Gare de Lyon, we actually done it at midnight and there were enough decent people at the restaurant, on October 2014, the same thing for walking thru Place de Bastille. Instead, going to Bercy (the opposite direction for Bastille), there is a less lightened passage/road, smelling of urine, on which I'll be suspicious to go late at night ... Over all, I would not worry enjoying late night travelling solo, we've done it for 5 different visits and had no problems :)
