Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Would recommend this hotel and if I returned to Paris I would stay at the hotel again. 😁

Hi, the deluxe rooms have a balcony; and almost all of the superior rooms have one as well (I think these overlook the street). I was very happy with the terrace outside my room--lovely, screened with green trailing vines, felt very secluded. Perhaps the balcony adjoined another but I didn't notice that. The staff are quite helpful so if a balcony is important, request it. They may offer an upgrade for free. Re bathtubs, you might be out of luck. I believe all the rooms have showers. At any rate, the bathrooms are luxurious and newly renovated. Also, there is a complimentary steam room (hammam) available on site.
The pool is in the basement level and is open year round. The pool can be reserved so check ahead of time. There is a laundromat just around the corner. It is literally two minutes away, just off Rue Martyrs. I did not... More
