I stayed here for a weekend after reading the reviews on this site. I really can't speak highly enough of this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure that your stay was perfect. The hotel location is incredible, in the middle of the Old Town and we were given a ground...

This is a great value for staying inside the walled city of Carcassone - its only about 20 metres from the Ile De La Cite so you get all the advantages of the same location for much less. It has a nice restaurant and you can always book a table at the Ile De La Cite michellin starred restaurant if...

this is a great location looking out over the chateau inside the ancient cite, we have visited before but not stayed within the walls and it was lovely to browse around and pause to sip a beer in the square and eat in the cite and be able to walk back. The hotel is good, lovely wetroom bathroom and well...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was a great base be it for our driving day trips or a quiet evening people watching/rewinding. Located in the heart of the Cite. Our room was comfortable and allowed us to recharge from the long plane/car ride when we were starting our holiday. We were given a room a...

We stayed for two nights during the low season. It was cold in Carcasonne, but just amazing to stay INSIDE the walls. The hotel was perfectly nice, but the location and great price made it essentially perfect. Staying within the walls of Carcasonne was definitely one of the travel hightpoints of my life.

The hotel is honest, rooms are clean and with enough space. The backyard is very charming, ask for rooms over there (it is an annex). The staff was nice and helpful. Really worth the money. Staying there was a great plesure.

Lovely break from the tiny bathrooms and showers we'd dealt with before our stay. We were in room number 1 in the main building for 100E (don't get excited about the rate--we were there off season and bargained for a lower price---the rack rate was over 200E). Huge bathroom with a wonderful walk-in shower--four feet by six feet (that's the...

We stayed here as part of our 40th wedding anniversary trip to France. When we arrived at the station there were no cabs but we rang the hotel and the receptionist organized one very promptly for us. Our room was in the "annexe" as described by a previous reviewer but Room 25 was fine - reasonable size, well-equipped including tea...

We have just returned from a stay in BW Le Donjon Les Remparts, and were placed in Les Remparts, which is a separate building from the main hotel. We presume that this was because our website booking agent did not offer superior or deluxe rooms, which we think must be in the main building. Alternatively, it could have been that...

We stayed here in Carcassonne for 1 night going from Provence to Bordeaux. As others have mentioned, parking is kind of a circus but I guess, like the Middle Ages, it is best to bring the valuables behind the castle walls at night. The hotel was clean and our room had 2 twins that were comfortable. The bathroom was very...
