We were totally satisfied with our stay at Hotel Montmorency. The staff were fantastic. The room was stylish and extremely comfortable with a great view of the old city. The breakfast was superb. Definitely worth the cost. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent in all areas. Definitely staying there next year, I travel quite alot and stay at a wide range of hotels but this has to be one of the best I have ever stayed in. Montmorency beats all of the others, a very warm welcome, helpful staff all the time. Great value and best location for sure. I've even booked... More

We only spent a single night here but really liked the hotel. Our room was modern, clean, and well appointed. Our room was a bit cramped, sort of difficult to move around the bed and other furniture but we had a comfortable double bed plus another single bed in the L-shaped room. So there was plenty of room to spread... More

Lovely hotel with a patio! Loved our stay here...clean and modern with a great South of France vibe. Easy walk to the fortified old city. Patio was wonderful way to relax in the autumn sun. Would stay here again.

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast room had an outstanding view and tasted wonderful, and my wife loved the spa. The setting is across the city from the Carcassonne old city. It's possible to soak in the pool and look up at the city. In short, you cannot beat the location. The people were extremely friendly and welcoming. In... More

We spent a couple of nights here and loved it. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good, the pool and spa were very convenient and we had a great time. It's been said in other reviews but this is the most convenient accommodation outside of the castle walls ... about a 2 minute walk! Unlike some others reviewers... More

The weather was lousy for 3 of our 4 night stay but it didn't really matter. The hotel was very cute. Although the rooms are small they are also well themed and have almost everything you would want. Our room had an outside seating are. But it didn't have any tea/coffee making facilities, which I really, really missed. The hotel... More

We found the hotel very easily with SatNav, but we did not know that you had to check in and park at the opposite (sister) hotel, the Hotel du Château, just across the road. We had 3 difficult conversations with the reception (admittedly in English) before we knew what to do. Secure car parking provided (at a charge). The rooms... More

The hotel is annex of the hotel across the road. We were on the ground floor, room 22. The room was good for what we wanted it for. It is about as close to the old city as you can get about 300 yards up a steep incline. It has rained since we arrived on 12 October and it is... More

This is the cheaper side of the two hotel complex. Its right across the street and you can use all the facilities (pool/bar/breakfast) of the more expensive hotel. Great location and easy to walk over to the old city and have dinner etc.
