A chilly receptionist. Quite a nice room, but... en francais " C'est une hotel avec beaucoup de bruit, pendant la nuit; une hotel vraiment sans soucis, mais, hélas, aussi sans souris. Probably the end of a busy season. At first she could not find our reservation, then no excuse, then no help with the elevator, then while waiting only talking... More

The hotel is in a very good location, right in the old part of town and a few minutes' walk to the beach. The bedroom was quite compact and a slightly weird shape with a very, very small toilet/shower room. Because it is in the centre of town, the hotel is an old building with small rooms but in a... We arrived late in Collioure and grabbed a late meal. We were extremely happy with the set menu and I settled for the fish soup, beef and profiteroles. I note that another contributor has singled some of these dishes as poor. My experience was very different and I can recommend this hotel restaurant. I presume that consistency may be an... More

Hotel is right in the heart of town parking is available 5 mins away at a charge. The hotel staff were helpful. The hotel is clean but could do with a paint and no blind at window in bathroom. You can walk around all of the town from here so that is a big plus.

Both rooms booked by our family were very clean and well-stocked, with pretty views from different sides of the building. The desk staff went out of their way to help us when the airlines lost our son's luggage on the way in, and they could not have been more gracious about it. We had both dinner and breakfast on the... Ordered the seafood platter.... Swimming in grease, overcooked, came with complimentary flies (in the restaurants defence... I maybe should have sat inside).... On the positive side... Whacking great portion, friendly staff and reasonably priced.... I'll try eating there again next time I'm back to give them a 2nd kick at the ball... Good luck 😀

Room was spacious and clean. Closet is big. My room was on the corner so I had windows all around. The bathroom had a large bath with shower. Receptionist was very nice and accommodating. I had to extend my stay and she made sure I didn't have to move rooms. If I come back to Collioure, I would stay at... More

We spent four nights in La Fregate in September. Our room was at the back and was therefore cool and quiet. Everything was spotless and the staff were attentive and helpful. We have always loved Collioure and La Fregate will be our hotel of choice from now on. (A tip for those who need a taxi - let the receptionist... More

The staff are fantastic. Each and every one of them courteous and helpful to the extent that there were hugs all round when we left. So safe that we had no hesitation leaving valuables in our room when we went out. The food is to die for. We did laugh at some of the English on the menu etc, but... More
