Previous reviews describe this darling hotel very well. It is basic but utterly charming. The sea was warm enough for swimming in October and we enjoyed soaking up the sun on our balcony with a bottle of the sweet and delicious ready-chilled Banyuls wine from...More
My daughter , 2 grandchildren and I stayed for a weekend. I was a little worried because the reviews were mixed. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small ,with comfortable beds and yes everything is old fashioned and basic but it was spotlessly clean...More
We have stayed here 5 times over the past years and love, love, love this hotel. As others have said, it's very basic with clean comfortable rooms, beds and bath. But sitting on your personal balcony with a bottle of wine and looking over the...More
This is a straightforward very basic hotel, a clean room with good beds, nice bathroom and a view to die for. If you need lots of amenities to feel at home, look elsewhere. Our room had a little balcony with two small chairs. I spent...More
Very mediocre hotel, small, unprepossessing rooms but WONDERFUL POSITION and VIEW in the front to die for! Breakfast typical and lovely to have it outside. Been back twice and going again in September. Can't wait!

You will love the Hotel Boramar ! I know that you call the floor levels differently in N. America. So, to make it clear - there is the ground floor, then the next flight up has 3 bedrooms overlooking the sea - a twin room, a double room and a larger room at the far end that has a double and a single. All these rooms have balconies with glorious views. The next flight up also has the same lay-out of bedrooms and balconies. The next flight up ( the top floor ) does not have balconies.
Make sure you book rooms with balconies overlooking the sea and fabulous view of Collioure opposite.
Do appreciate that it is quite a basic hotel, as reflected in the price. For instance, they still have plastic shower curtains - BUT, it is clean and with the most delightful owners !
Parking is a problem but, with a bit of luck, you can find a space in the nearby carpark - if not, there is plenty of parking on the hillside, a 5 - 10 min. walk away. Enjoy yourselves.
