We hired Couette et Cafe in villa format for 2 weeks with our 3 teenage children. It was perfect for us. We had 4 bedrooms, the pool, and an absolutely beautiful outside seating area. Everything was high spec, clean and modern. The whole place is stunning! We were impressed from the minute we were welcomed on arrival. The public transport around Montpellier is fantastic, with a tram and bus stop both within easy walking distance. Montpellier is a beautiful, lively city with a great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the charming Couette-Caffe during the first week of July. We were travelling through France with a purpose: researching material for our next book. In spite of our demanding and stressful schedule, the Couette-Caffe owners turned our visit into a wonderful vacation. Etienne and Marc make you feel you are visiting with friends you knew forever and could relay on: whether you need a driving advice or to borrow an umbrella for a beach. Their B&B is elegant, tasteful, beautiful, with the best Montpellier location ever: easy access to highways to avoid the city traffic for travelling around the region and close enough to the city center to take public transportation. In addition, the breakfast looks like the work of art! We will always recommend Couette-Caffe in Montpellier to any of our friends, readers, and followers. …

Great place. Very Cousy and great host. Comfortable and very clean. Breakfast consist of fresh fruits, croissants, chocolatine and more,,, I recommended this place highly. Marc and Etienne can guide you on different activities or tours near Montpellier.

My wife and I stayed for a 4 day long weekend. Marc and Etienne (and Jaja!) were superb hosts -the breakfasts in the courtyard were excellent - fa bowl of a variety of fresh fruits, croissants, coffee and a variety of other things available in the kitchen area. Whilst being some distance out from the city centre, this was easily accessed from the tram stop just a few minutes away. Similarly the coast was only a few miles away by car. The weather also made sure it was a very memorable weekend, hot with clear blue skies all the way! Most definitely recommended.

They got in contact with us in advance to check on our arrival time, they're great friendly hosts, the breakfast was super good and the rooms were immaculate and JaJa - the host dog- is amazing!! They also have a digital lock so you can arrive a little bit later without hassle and without the need to carry your keys. There's a 20min tram ride from the main train station that feels much shorter, but I suggest the bus #7 as the bus stop is just a few steps away from the entrance.

Our one night say at Couette et Café could not have been better. We were given a warm, friendly welcome and the owners are just marvelous. The rooms were clean, with good air conditioning and pleasantly furnished. The breakfast was TO DIE FOR with fresh juices and pastries, home made yogurt and cake. Even though the bed and breakfast does not look like much from the outside it will not disappoint. It’s calm and serene courtyard is perfect for unwinding. I highly recommend couette et cafe. Thank you so much for a great stay.

The three rooms open on a very quiet courtyard with greenery and small inviting tables. A perfect setting for our small group which occupied all three rooms: A larger table in the shady courtyard welcomes guests to,breakfast served buffet style. Delightful in Summer. .On week days, the bread comes from an exceptional bakery. Add croissants, yoghurts, fresh fruit, a pot of fresh coffee. Marc made me a special decaf expresso diluted with hots water as I requested. Delicious home made coffee cakes. One morning was cloudy and a little raw so breakfast was set inside. Marc and Etienne are congenial hosts, attentive to every guests' needs. For example, Marc provided me with a top sheet to replace the "couette" which was too hot in Summer. My bed was firm, yet comfortable for my taste. Finally the location is at a 5 minute walk to the TRAM stop at Chateau d'O. The park and ride station of Occitanie is also close and convenient: it allows parking for the whole day plus TRAM tickets for all the vehicle occupants to go downtown and come back. …

We had a wonderful time staying in Couette et Cafe. The way Marc runs this place is absolutely amazing. He puts a lot of love and energy in the smallest details and it really shows! The rooms were always clean and breakfast was very nice. This is a very authentic place, where they also keep in mind the ecological and sustainable perspective. Furthermore, Marc and Etienne were very nice people and they take the time to have a quality conversation with you if you like this. We would certainly recommend this place to everyone!
