Previous reviews say it all. Superb location, 2 mins from railway station, 2 mins from amphitheatre. The hotel needs to be renovated; it's not very clean, and quite shabby. But it is very cheap, and you get what you pay for. For our two night stay it was ok.

It had paint peeling off, unfinished bathroom, plastered up holes, window panes held only with tacks. No Fridge, tea making facilities, kitchenette, microwave, plasma TV, in fact I had to look up the website to make sure we were at the right hotel! The...

I've been traveling across France a bit, and this hotel room was the worst I have ever stayed: many, many dead mosquitoes with blood stains still visible on the walls, dilapidated and dirty floor tiles, paints falling off from the walls, bed sheets with stains plus some blue-ish unidentified gluey substance. i can hear flies/mosquitoes buzzing next to me while...

Came away with no major problems. Hotel staff were nice. We paid 52 euros for a quad room, so i guess we got what we paid for. Located 2 minutes away from the ampitheatre, and in the heart of nimes. Great location , however rooms were abit outdated, and in need of repair/attention.

this is the most terrible hotel we ever staied. Dirty, broken and totally [--] up. We had to stay there as all other hotels in the city center were booked out.

I have stayed at Hotel de Provence with a friend in the summer of 2004 and with 20 students in March of 2005. In summer and spring, the staff was remarkably hospitable, and they made our stay in Nimes <<super.>> They arranged the bus that took us to Pont du Gard and other wonderful towns in the area. From the...
