This is a lovely, comfortable hotel. The room we had was a good size and the small balcony looked out onto the street. It was a nice place to chill out with a beer! You are very close to the fabulous Roman arena and several restaurants, yet the nights are quiet and peaceful. The comfortable beds helped us get an...

We spent two nights at this hotel in July. We had a quad room on the 4th floor which was great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and something not often seen in Europe. The room was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. The English couple who run the hotel were lovely, as were the other staff we...

We needed a break from our rail journey from Milano to Barcelona....and had not really heard of Nimes before. A friend suggested Nimes....IT WAS A GREAT PLACE to stop for a night. This hotel is actually much closer to the rail station than we realised. We paid a cab 6Euro to get there on arrival....but left by foot, because it...

We were welcomed, made extremely comfortable and sent off into Nimes armed with precise and helpful information. Thank heaven for the air conditioning, which was needed, and also for the hearty breakfast - French style with English trimmings! Our room was spacious and quiet and the hotel was very well located, especially for the railway station and its summer offer...

...this lovely hotel. It is quiet, clean, friendly and in an excellent location. The couple running the place could not be more friendly and helpful and they speak both English and French. My room was lovely. The location is excellent for exploring the city and for getting to the station. I would definitely return.

A one night stay for a family of 5 (4,5,15 and two adults) as we travelled to Spain made very enjoyable by the location and staff at this hotel. Close to the Arena and old part of this compact and well appointed city, we stayed in adjoining triple and double rooms. The hotel was quiet, clean and entirely adequate for...

I stayed in the Hotel des Tuileries for three nights and I can`t recommend it enough, the rooms are spacious and more befitting a hotel of higher grade, the owners are helpful and will always oblige when asked, they are always eager to help with travel information regarding the area. The hotel is clean and the breakfast area more than...

We stayed two nights at the Hotel des Tuileries. Would definitely stay here again. The English couple that runs the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was comfortable. Right from the welcome on arrival, our week in Nimes was made great by staying here. Andrew and Caryn were unfailingly helpful and generous with their time, recommending sights and restaurants and answering any queries immediately. Our room was spacious, clean and surprisingly quiet, (we had expected more noise in a city hotel) and the little balcony was pleasant to...
